On a trip up north I decided to skip the Southern NH Taco Bells to beat the crowd, and I'm glad I did. I pulled into the drive thru -- not expecting much -- and was pleasantly surprised that there was only one car ahead of mine. The car pulled ahead and I lined up the Crosstrek driver's side window with the (at this point, vintage) drive-thru intercom. I'd waited barely 30 seconds when a friendly and apologetic voice greeted me and asked of my order. There was no need to apologize for my "wait" as -- so far -- this has been the smoothest Taco Bell drive-thru I've experienced in some time. The speaker must have been produced during some kind of golden era for drive-thru intercoms, as the order taker's voice came through in sweet, dulcet analogue tones. After placing my order (always tacos, sometimes Supreme, chips and cheese on the side by default) I pulled ahead to the car in front of me. Before even letting go of the gas, this previous customer received their order and drove into the sunset with their feast. Either they ordered a reasonable amount of food or the Tilton Taco Bell is just that good -- probably both. I arrived at the first (and only!) window. I wish I could give a sixth star for not having a superfluous, unused window. My payment was processed by a god among men. Then, in the time it took to put away my card, the same being extended the bag with an expression that read "I gotchu fam". Stunned, I headed to the parking lot with my haul, found a spot and pulled the brake. It was getting late, but one must never negotiate with tacos while driving. I extracted the goods and noshed like never before. The meat was cooked correctly. The other ingredients were proportioned in some kind of golden ratio. The tacos felt full, heavier and more succulent than ever. I forgot to ask for sauce, but it didn't even matter. Pandemic labor and supply chain issues be damned, I do declare the Tilton Taco Bell to be the fairest in all the land. Other Taco Bells are...
Read moreLet me first start by saying particularly likes fast food and Taco Bell for the most part is one of my top favorites if I am getting fast food and I'm near one but after this experience I may never go back to a Taco Bell like we all understand fast food is bad for us that it also doesn't always get the most ethical sources of their food to make whatever dish they're going to sell to you and they may not always be the cleanest but you usually can hope that you're going to get your meal in a timely manner and the order is going to be accurate when I went yesterday the second of June 2021 not only was one of the things I ordered completely out so they had to be substitution they then when they finally gave my order completely missed one item on top of all that there was no control over the inside of the restaurant there seem to be chaos in the back end in the kitchen if you will and while waiting in line I had someone caught me which realistically wouldn't happen if you had someone Manning the counter overall as someone who does like this type of food even knowing the bad side of it I truly am appalled at how bad this went from the start of being out of an item that I ordered on well if your inventory is accurate it's supposed to update to the app and online so then it doesn't get ordered and then missing in them back just shouldn't happen at all every order before it goes out should be double checked and obviously that didn't happen finally Manning the counter I don't care what business it is this should always be someone Manning the counter watching the customers keeping an eye on the flow of things and finally when someone looks back into the kitchen it shouldn't seem like a bomb went off even in the smallest restaurant or the biggest this should always be maintained order within the kitchen this was a complete failure across the board and I really can't say anything nice about the...
Read moreToday I went to this Taco Bell and ordered food from the assistant manager with no issues. They had forgotten the meat in my crunch wrap supreme. Noticed after taking a few bites. Was not a problem I just simply wanted some meat in the food as it was terribly plain without. I kindly told the general manager there was no meat in the crunch wrap. She proceeded to give me the dirtiest look and tell me “there are black beans in there” I tell her that I don’t see or taste the black beans (there were no black beans it was just straight cheese and lettuce). She stormed off and I went over to the side to wait in hopes it would be fixed. She mumbled about how we messed up her whole schedule when it was clearly not busy. We waited and she yelled rudely to ask if we still needed anything and I just said I was waiting on my meat and she said she would not be making me a new one as I already ate it? I only took a few bites. Told us we can leave. I said I was not asking for a new wrap and just simply wanted some meat on the side and I would put it in my wrap myself. She stormed off to the back and very aggressively gave me the container of meat. I thanked her and told her to have a good night and she passive aggressively said “I won’t”. We left. I was not asking for much at all and I had paid for that so all I wanted was my food as I was tired and hungry. I myself work in the food industry and customer service at a pizza place. I completely understand being upset and busy but it was not at all busy and they had multiply workers. For the general manager to act such a way to customers is completely inappropriate and rude. For any employee to act that way is just insane to me. I would never treat a customer like that even when extremely upset as it is just plain unprofessional. We are extremely displeased with the way she handled the situation. Someone so immature should not be in a position...
