My experience at this Wendy's was not a good one. Ordered a Biggie Bag at the drive thru and upsized the fries and drink to medium size. When I pulled away and opened the bag, I'd been given small fries. Pulled around to the speaker again and explained the problem. Worker #1 tersely said to pull forward to the window. Ok, no problem. Waiting behind another car who was at the payment window with my window open, I saw worker #2 hand a small bag to that car, saying that they were medium fries. He tried to get her attention after she shut the window - probably to tell her that they were not for him - but to no avail. When I got to the window, worker #2 asked what I wanted, and I told her that I was the one who had gotten the wrong size fries. She just stared at me like she had no idea what to do. Worker #1 comes to the window and asks in a snarky tone, "You got your receipt?" Like I was trying to steal those few fries or something. I did have the receipt (good thing I asked her for one when I paid!). She took it and left the window for quite awhile, then came back and shoved a bag out the window at me. No apology, no nothing. They even wanted the small fries back. Not my fault you screwed up the first time, nor that the other gal gave free fries to the wrong car. To top it all off, this took so long that the burger and nuggets were stone cold, and the fries tasted spicy, like they cooked them in the fryer they use for the spicy nuggets. Read moreJust ordered thru the mobile app in Tinley Park and selected pick up thru drive thru and was told I can’t pick my mobile orders up at drive thru… I explained I had already ordered and paid in the mobile app and indicated I was picking it up at the drive-through and they told me they will no longer honor that !!! you have to come in and pick it up. So then I spoke to the manager and asked her why mobile app allows drive-through as a pick up option if they’re going to make you come in???? She said well because it’s holding up our drive-through line… apparently she makes up her own rules at this restaurant so whoever the manager is really need some better customer service. Then she told me that they were eventually going to change it and all mobile orders must be picked up inside…. Um ok eventually is not NOW!! And yes I read the business articles that Wendy’s has a new business model that they will be releasing that includes mobile pick up inside, but that’s after restaurants have been redesigned and specific parking has been labeled just for mobile orders to make it fast and efficient….but this is not currently available at this location… NOR is it indicated in the app that you HAVE to go in. Really bad customer service and confusing app experience…I also explained to the manager I was handicap and that was not gonna work for me to come in….and she said well that’s what they’re gonna be doing in the future …..so pretty much too bad so sad. Read moreToday I visited Wendy's and was very disappointed with the service. I first ordered via the app and proceeded to Wendy's to pick up my order. When I arrived, the person at the drive thru was not there. It took her several minutes to respond. I advised her I had a mobile order and she asked my name & said drive around. When I arrived at the next window the young lady asked if I had an order which wasn't mine. Then she asked if I had a mobile order. I said yes, then she said "Well we didn't get a mobile order". She asked a few questions about the order & if I ordered for the correct Wendy's. I immediately checked my bank account to find that the order total was reversed. I advised the young lady and asked if I could still order the original order. She said one moment, then came back to say. Sorry we didn't get your order. I asked again if I could still order. She shrugged her shoulders and said, "No". I asked again if I could still receive my food and again she said "No". I said never mind thank you and proceeded inside. I reordered then ask for the manager. I explained what happened and she said "Sorry, you can still order". Needless to say my order was wrong when I arrived to my destination. Never have had such a horrible experience. I didn't realize I needed to explain to the young lady that I was aware I needed to pay for my meal and she rendered no alternatives.
