Giving this a 3 star because of customer service not because of quality of food. After hearing about how “good” this place is, I decided to give it a shot, I mean who doesn’t love good Italian food, especially since Italian is in my blood. It disappointed me to hear they don’t have a Sicilian Style pie. I settled for the Tomato Basil pie. I got the smallest size they had & it is still super huge which is what helps give this food a better rating than a 1 star. I also got the Cheese stromboli which like the pizza was very large. The Pie itself was good and bad, it had great flavor, okay crunch on a couple of pieces, on the other half of the pizza there was air bubbles & still raw dough, my guess is it wasn’t rolled correctly & their oven was not to the correct temperature. Also very greasy. The Stromboli I took one bite and instantly regretted it, nothing but grease, I wanted to throw up just from one bite. Stromboli’s are one of the easiest dishes to make and they messed this one up bad. Needless to say not even 30 minutes after eating I was in the bathroom off and on for the rest of the night. I spent close to 30$ before tipping which is sort of okay and sort of outrageous at the same time because we don’t really get an option, Offer smaller portions, because you may think selling big Pie’s separates you from the rest, the price that is charged for the quality is very disappointing. As for customer service the girl working the front register is very nice, quick to respond & just gave off very happy vibes. There was a younger male in there I believe he worked there, he was sitting at the table closer to the back with his feet on the table drinking a soda while playing on his phone, which worker or not is quite disgusting to have feet on the table. I watched sweat fall from the cooks forehead onto another pie that was being while I was ordering which maybe he didn’t realize and could of been an honest mistake. There was also no gloves being used or hand washing which if dealing with actual fresh ingredients would include raw meat, this leads to cross contamination and could get someone very sick.

All in all I was not impressed with the food, however I’m hoping this was just because it was close to closing time, which is not an excuse however I will try again closer to opening time & will update my review...

Besides its proximity to Kennedy Space Center, one month ago, I would have had no rational reason to exit I-95 at Titusville. That was until we drove up to Humpavelli's Pizza off State Road 50. A few of the locals (by the way, some of the nicest people we've met across our amber waves of swampland Florida) had mentioned this place when we asked where we could get a decent slice in town. Granted, they were not visibly emphatic about the quality of the slice, in fact, their lack of uncommitted enthusiasm made me brace for mediocrity. And hey, it's not like the whole of Titusville has proportionally as many pizza places as a square block between 7th and 8th of Midtown Manhattan.

But I'll be damned if their "New York Style Pizza" doesn't out-New York any New York pizza spot I've been to (with two possible exceptions). Thin crust that's on the plumper side of thin, but with a nice and crackly underside, rich tomato sauce, perfect cheese to sauce ratio, and a pretty generous helping of pepperoni. A very tangy wedge that probably needed no dressing at all (we have a bad habit of letting gravity have its way with oregano, parm and crushed red pepper). But, the full flavor of the slice cut right through that holy condimental trinity. The crust edge could have been bubblier, but for the flatter variety, it was still light and airy. And that's OK with me.

And all this for the Titusvilly low price of $3.75 before 4pm. Cheese slices are $3 before 4pm. I'd put this slice up any day against any NY wedge, or for that matter, against any of our favorite South Florida staples. Hell, I'd consider putting up Humpavelli's Pizza house against a visit to the NASA Vehicle Assembly Building. Or better yet, eat it in the car on...

Look at their response to my review. How would they be able to look me up using my initals when I only give them my first name on my orders? I'm changing my 2 stars to 1 star and encouraging my neighbors to leave an honest review as well. This place really is shady. I'm no longer eating here*

I've eaten here at least 20 or 30 times over the last couple of years and it seems to me like this place is on its last leg. It was good at first but lately it seems like something has changed. I'm not sure how long they've been around but it comes off as maybe management simply being burned out. First off all my last couple of deliveries have been fairly burnt and tough on at least one half as if whoever is cooking the pies isn't rotating them evenly enough, then on top of that they straight up ask you to tip the driver on the phone.

I'm guessing this place is broke and can't pay staff enough so they have to rely on the generosity of the people who are already spending $60 on some pizzas and salads. Then the non response when you do reach out to let management know if there is an issue. They'll put you on hold then say they are really slammed when you call back. Emailing management doesn't work either. I was told by b night staff to come in during the day then when I did I was told they are working at another location.

I'm not mad. I'm just going to check out these other pizza places that are popping up everywhere in town.

I would also like to invite everyone to read the whole review war on here about raw sausage. I've never had an issue with raw sausage, but the way management handled the customer who obviously did have an issue was on par with a pizza place that asks for tips when taking...

This was my first time ordering from Humpavelli's Pizza. I called in an order for pickup and the staff was very polite. My order was ready on time. Went in and the staff was very respectful when picking up. So far so good. Now for the food.. we started with our caesar salads, absolutely delicious. I loved the Caesar dressing! Went on to eat the garlic knots. A little disappointed as they were doughy on the inside. Here's where it gets bad though.. we cut our slices from the "zone out" calzone and took a bite.. immediately tasting the burnt crust. It wasn't that nice slight char that some people like (myself included).. it was well past that point. I posted a picture to show exactly what it looked like. I've read reviews/posts of people complaining about this same issue and one review said that at busy times they turn the oven up such as fridays and Saturdays.. whether that's true I don't know but it is Saturday night. Maybe just a coincidence? Regardless me and my family were pretty unsatisfied with our calzone. We've been wanting a calzone for weeks and decided to go with a a new place. Unfortunately we will play it safe next time and order from a more familiar place. Not worth spending that amount of money and potentially being this unsatisfied in my opinion. Hope this review helps someone.

Ordered a “chicken Parmesan” sub and they used plain over cooked dry chicken breast that is sliced :( .. A chicken Parmesan sub is supposed to be “chicken Parmesan” which is a chicken cutlet (a breast pounded thin, covered in Italian breadcrumbs and shallow fried) with sauce and mozzarella cheese on top…. I completely understand that some restaurants do things non traditionally but maybe it could have said grilled chicken on the menu, or maybe not called it chicken Parmesan :/ but to top it off, even if we do not count that as an offense of not receiving what it said it was…the bread was over cooked/burnt, and additionally the sliced chicken they did give was severely overcooked to the point of being grainy and wood like.. I feel disappointed that it was $15 for something inedible.. I feel bad for leaving a bad review as I never do that but I think that others should be aware the quality isn’t there at least in regard to their sub or in regard to the attention to detail / caring about the customers experience.. As someone who has worked in the industry in the past, when you care you don’t let it leave the kitchen that way and you don’t rely on people complaining or sending it back.. checking quality of food is an imperative step in delivering a good experience..
