I had gone to shop and for the first time i find a few items that fit me well I’m checking out and suddenly one of the jackets don’t have the price due to the lady not seeing it so she calls the manager and he gives her the price and she hands it to me and says “incase you want to return it” i leave the next day when i was going to put on the jacket i feel something and turns out it was the tag with the magnetic thingy so i decided to go that afternoon and see if they can help me remove it and i brought the receipt, well turns out they cant remove it because the price didn’t match any i brought all price tags and explained to them yet they wanted me to buy it although i had payed for the price they gave it to me and not only that they wanted me to pay for the full price if they were to say i can pay for the rest that is missing that would be fine but they wanted me to pay 24 dollars instead of 5 more dollar cuz i had payed 19 for it and they ended up keeping the jacket and my receipt and told me to go back the next day. Its as if they were accusing me of theft although if i had stolen it i wouldn’t have gone back to get it removed. Plus everything was everywhere there was nothing organized and it was all clustered around i couldn’t find many sizes that fit me because it was mostly small sized in the medium sizes. And to add ip to that they had asked me to describe the manager that attended me and they started laughing which i found very disrespectful they should be more helpful rather...
Read moreThey need to hire people with respect and manners, and that can learn basic customer service skills. The ladies at the registers, the more mature ones, are nice and efficient, but the young girls that work there are rude and nasty. I've shopped there several times, and I've had more negative encounters than positive ones overall with them. My first time shopping here, an older woman followed me all the way around the store to almost the registers. Like I couldn't see her pretending to work on the clothing and glance my way every so often. So I said hi to her and just left the store disappointed. On my recent visit, I was looking at shoes in the 7.5 section. I was about 3/4 of the way down the aisle, and a young employee came from around the corner, and she just looked at me, then turned and started working on whatever. So I did the same and kept looking, but she wouldn't budge or look at me or ask if I needed anything. No, I didn't say excuse me as her nasty attitude didn't warrant it at the moment. The selection is not that great. It always looks like the same stuff, so I'll be avoiding the Marshalls...
Read moreI went and shopped at Marshall’s this evening. I paid for my transaction with cash first and put the rest in my card. The payment pad said transaction approved and the computer glitched and asked for another payment method. I pulled up my bank account app and showed them that the transaction was already pending on my account. The manager Pat would not let me leave and made me call the bank. It was after hours so I got an automated service. The bank automation listed out the Marshall’s transaction and I had it on speaker phone for the manager to hear it. She was very rude during this whole time mumbling under breath to other employees while staring daggers at me like I was trying to steal. This entire thing took 30 minutes! I just wanted my items I had PAID for and to leave. She finally let me leave stating “if this payment doesn’t come through I expect you to come back and make it right” in a very demeaning tone. I don’t know what this ladies problem was. She could clearly see on my screen that the transaction went through. I normally love shopping here but I won’t be going back to...
