This place smells like mold. As soon as I got there I went back to the desk and said hey, this room smells moldy they asked me if I wanted to move I said no because I've already plugged my phone in and I don't want to move. I left to go hang out with friends and family came back went into my room and later on I went to the desk I asked for a spare key. Left the hotel again to hang out with some friends came back, went to the desk and I asked for another spare key because I could not find my key and requested for some extra towels. Then i Asked the night auditor if they could comp my room because of the smell he said no ( nice try). I also brought to his attention that I had to use my own cleaning products to clean the bathroom when I went to the shower and there where strands of hair on the wall. ( And this is after I've read on a posted plaque on the lobby desk that they charge $9 for room service) I mentioned, That I've worked in hotels before and still do. And when guests complain about things like these we comp them with points to their account or a room voucher where the room is free. I said thank you man I appreciate it. Turned around and left. My ride was supposed to be waiting outside under the pavilion but they decided to park in the back and as I proceeded to walk out the door I went towards the back parking lot and got into my ride and drove away. When I went to the desk in the morning to get more towels they said that I checked out at 4:00 p.m. the day before. I said how could I have checked out when I came to desk to move rooms and decided not to. She said, ( and that is, the one that checked me in). There were too many complaints at the desk that you were asking for too much. I said how can I be asking for too much when I'm complaining about the condition of my room. (I have visited here before when my son's mother parents came to visit and the rooms still smell the same they were on the second floor so no I do not want to move because the smell will stay the same. She became aggressive and said Based on their bylaws that I forfeited my deposit. I proceeded to say okay, calm down. She said "I'm calm" with an attitude While picking up the phone. Now, this is a third party company that is in France. which is pretty much a scam by the people who stand behind the desk that are scamming people. Those who are checking in and those who live in this motel. The residents who live there are those who are on our lower income. We only chose to stay there that night because it was the cheapest hotel or motel in the area and I was too tired to go any further. the other hotels in this area are already sold out. That says a lot about me, but then again there's no customer service in this world that would have set this motel apart from the others. ( Especially at check-in when I ask what is the rate for tonight? She said, It'll be much more expensive ($200) to book it through us than through a third party Company. I would truly advise anyone who decides to stay here, or who are looking for a motel in this area do not, again; do not go here. Because they are hackers. They will steal your cards and rip you off. If I knew your management company was so desperately in need of money, I would not have been so appalled. Much less to say, I would never want to experience this again or have anyone to...
Read moreBE WARNED!! We should have listened to the reviews here instead of thinking it was entitled people with nothing better to do than complain because they were all telling the absolute truth! The stay here was AWFUL! The ENTIRE motel smelled of MOLD AND MILDEW!! Hallways, stairs, rooms and all! The front desk was very nice, but when told about these issues didn’t seem surprised and didn’t even so much as ask if we wanted to swap rooms. Only said she would ‘tell management and report the issues.’ The room was so sticky in the air from the amount of moisture inside the hotel that my hair was sticking to the back of my neck even when it was 69 degrees in the room! Mold growing EVERYWHERE and the windows were fogged over and moldy I from the amount of moisture in the rooms! Hand prints from other guests on the headboard, other guest’s things found in plain sight in the floor, stains all up and down the hallway carpets and inside the room, pee on the side of the toilet, things falling off/out of the walls (like hair dryer and electrical outlets), dust all over everything, furniture broken, the ‘heated’ pool about froze my girls to death the 5 whole minutes they were in there, all the laundry machines were out of order and so were the ice machines and even the smoke detectors in the room didn’t have batteries in them! Just all out NASTY and AWFUL aside from the staff’s kindness despite them turning a blind eye because they have to get paid somehow even if it means working for the most awful hospitality places in Titusville. As I saw on a previous review, they’re clearly afraid of the owners of this hotel and they won’t speak up to get things up to code. The sheets and towels were clean (THANK GOD) but the air is NOT! As someone with breathing problems and allergies to MANY molds, I could not breathe in the hotel at all! We wouldn’t even take our shoes off and walk in socks across the room because the floors were so moist! And the security was amazing and so sweet to us, but the reason they’re there is because there’s so many stragglers running around inside and out at 2 and 3 in the morning! People were in the parking lot doing obvious sketchy stuff, and the guard had to run them off more than once because long stayers at the hotel had them there! You had to have a key to get in any of the doors and clearly stayers in the rooms were allowing them to enter this hotel KNOWING they aren’t to be. We did our best to just NOT be at the hotel unless we were changing or going to bed it was so bad! This was an AWFUL visit to see my sister this year and I promise we will never be back here again! I’m including pictures of all the nonsense in the room, and I will be reporting this to the BBB, OSHA and the Florida state Health Department to be looked into. NOTHING about this hotel is up to code aside from friendly faces of the...
Read moreOkay, so to no fault of the front desk guy, he did his job and was simply working his shift.
HOWEVER, to the attention of management, the owner, or investment group; whomever needs to make a major change, you may want to do sooner than later.
This hotel is the absolute worse place I have stayed since being back in the states.
I mean, when you have modern businesses neighboring yours, it's time to spend the money and het your business up to speed.
To the rear parking lot it's clear that you plan on replacing the windows and probably have a scheduled renovation. But, right now in the condition this hotel is operating, it smells that of a major health hazard.
Upon entering the building, you smell a strong stench of mold and cigarette. The carpets are in need of replacing on the entire property.
The furniture in the lobby is like a garage sale arrangement.
Upon checking into the room, the smells only stayed consistent with a masking smell of what appeared to be Ajax cleaning powder.
Now, there is an appearance of an attempt to keep the rooms consistently clean but there is only so much someone can do here.
The room itself had dust webs, I observed a cigarette burn in my bed sheets, a roach on the counter of the sink; mind you, this was all within the first few minutes of entering the room.
Do to the late hour of check in, and my familes need to get that night's sleep; we had no choice but to go to sleep.
So the plan was to sleep now and wake up early and leave immediately. And that we did.
Actually, we slept in our regular cloths, only sat our bags & suitcases up on the table and counter and NOT on the floors just to avoid any other strange insets catching a ride with our stuff.
Of course, one would read and say wow, so I took video and picture. If I could capture smell in the image, you would throw your phone.
We checked in the very next day at another hotel and went to bed by 2pm in the afternoon exhausted fmmentally alone do to the lack of sleep from discomfort and concern. It was just a disgusting situation. This hotel should be condemned by code...
