My wife and I decided to try something new and head to downtown Toledo to see what all the fuss was about. Avastruz Is worth the drive! The menu had a great selection. Neither one of us typically drink, but we decided to live dangerously! I had the Dirty Reamey and she had the Pain Killer. A nice way to start. I ordered the breaded walleye tacos and Brussels sprouts for dinner, while Jennifer ordered the beef, short rib, enchiladas and potatoe bravas. Prime rib and pork belly were delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough! The bar across the alley, Molly’s, plays live music and they will also bring the Avestruz food over if that’s where you’d rather spend your evening. Such a cool spot! Food and drinks are amazing while it has the cozy vibe if ur looking for queit cozy call ahead to see if they have large parties as it tends to get really loud.
