Kung Fu Tea (Bubble Tea and Açaí Bowls) — Restaurant in Toledo

Okay. I’m addicted, I’ll admit it. This place has the BEST milk tea I’ve ever had. I’ve tried a variety of items and never been even close to disappointed. The staff is always friendly, they work very hard too, you see them working as a team, a very well oiled machine. I’d like to emphasize how the ingredients seem to be of the highest quality. The teas themselves are very well made, never bitter or oversteeped. They use a lactose free milk as well, which is a great idea. The additions are generously proportioned, and the drinks are ALWAYS consistently made. If you get one you like, return later it won’t change. Seems like the standards for quality, cleanliness and staffing are VERY high. Great place. My only “issue” is that there’s only one location! I live in perrysburg and if there was one here? Well…let’s just say if the owners don’t open one I may. It’s a franchise and I’m really considering opening my own because it’s a great product, the company seems solid and I just love it. HOWEVER I’d rather someone else open it because my business knowledge is nonexistent 😂😂😂 I’ve never considered owning a franchise, but my love for this place runs that deep. They made my wedding ended perfectly!!!! I’m a big fan of bubble tea due to cultural background, so I decided to have bubble tea catering on my wedding day. Who should I go for in Toledo? No doubt it’s kung fu tea, from now to the future. It’s one of the biggest bubble tea chain in the US and all of their drinks maintain a good quality. The owner, Amir, was happy to take over the offer and spent time corresponding with me for few months and provided his professional opinion on how to choose the menu. We set up a tasting time and had our final menu coming out on the same day. The manager, Skylar, dedicated her time on designing customized acrylic bubble tea sign for us (which was extremely elegant and creative). I wouldn’t be happier to work with kung fu tea team during my wedding preparation. The bubble tea I ordered for 86 guests run out within 2-3 hrs(150 cups) quickly. Undoubtedly, all of my guests loved the bubble tea and my husband and I were so happy that we put this idea on wedding day. Without this amazing team I couldn’t make my dream come true. Everything tastes artificial and way too sweet, no matter what sugar level you select. The boba are big, but not cooked well. Certainly was not worth spending the $7 for anything I've tried here. I've recently noticed a few non-chain boba shops that aren't very far from this place. Will definitely be checking those out instead.
