Boil Shack — Restaurant in Toledo

The food here is absolutely awful. I highly recommend going to Cincy Crab, it’s legitimately the same price, and they would have better quality of food. Everything that we ordered was very flavorless, dry, and overall just disappointing for the price. The shrimp fried rice, is very oily/flavorless. The catfish is very mucky and taste like what you would see at the bottom of a fish tank, the breading on the fish was completely unseasoned and not gratifying to eat, their fries are also flavorless and somehow super dry/oily. The seafood broil that we got had crab, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. There’s almost no sauce in the bag which left everything dry and flavorless. It is not worth the price that it is for what you get. I do not know if we just had a bad experience, a bad chef, or this is just a fluke. We personally are not gonna be going back to this place due to this experience. I was looking forward to the meal and when it arrived, it wasn't what I was looking for. I mean was it bad no, but you know when you have this idea in your mind of what you're wanting and thinking you're going to get, and then it doesn't quite hit that level of , yes, this is exactly what I wanted expectation, that is how I felt about the meal. Food was alright service was the downfall. Everyone took a break while we were eating which is all fine and dandy except the part where our "waitress" if you can even call her that never came to check on us or give us any refills the entire time. We had go to the counter for her to even acknowledge us to which she replied "Oh sorry we were eating" Such professional employees to ignore the customers while you eat on the clock if you're on break shouldn't someone be watching your tables?
