A Cute Spot with a Sauce-y Situation We were all set to cozy up in BibiBop's charming cubby booths, picturing ourselves nestled in those adorable little nooks. But alas, the booths were full! Guess we'll have to find another hideaway for our next adventure. Undeterred, we embraced the open seating and were instantly charmed by the cheerful staff's welcome. Building our bowls was a delightful journey of culinary creativity, with endless options at our fingertips. But when our hearts' desire for a specific sauce was dashed, we felt a wave of disappointment wash over us. Thankfully, the complimentary miso soup provided a comforting hug in a cup. And let's not forget the refreshing tea and lemonade, which were the perfect companions for our meal. Now, about those bowls. The "Spicy Chicken" was more like "Mildly Curious Chicken," but the flavors were still a pleasant surprise. However, the sauce situation was dire! It was like a desert mirage - a tiny oasis of flavor amidst a vast expanse of dryness. Three-quarters of my bowl was left tragically uncoated, yearning for a saucy embrace. The miso soup was more like a warm hug from a distant relative - comforting but lacking in substance. BibiBop is undeniably adorable, but it's like a puppy that hasn't quite mastered potty training. The food is tasty enough for a quick bite, but Balance Pan-Asian Grille still holds the key to our hearts (and our tastebuds). If you're seeking a customizable bowl experience, BibiBop is worth a visit. Just remember to channel your inner Oliver Twist and ask for "more sauce, please!" lest you find yourself in a flavorful yet arid...
Read moreWill not ever attempt to eat at this restaurant ever again. Arrived around 820p one night fully aware that they close at 9p. Attempted to go inside, the door was locked with a sign saying indoor dining was closed due to understaffing. Another sign indicated if a pickup order was placed to call and they will unlock the door. Attempted to place an order online and was not able to. Since all of this took a few minutes, at 835p we called the store and a snotty young girl answered and after explaining what we just went through, she just said 'sorry we are closed... Yep we are closed... We are closed' and just continually repeating this several times. If we would have known online ordering only was a thing, we would have placed an order much earlier. She was just unnecessarily rude. If the staffing is THAT sparse, this should be indicated on the website or Google maps location so the whole issue would have been a non-issue. I could see the rudeness if we were trying to order 10 minutes before closing but this was a solid 40 minutes. Rude rude rude employee. I wish I would have gotten her name but I was so flustered I didn't even make note of it. I'll take my...
Read moreWe really enjoyed eating here several times a week when they first opened. Thru COVID was hard to find employees and I understand that, that service did go down a bit. However now, December 8th. 2022 I believe things could be better… I could be wrong. I don’t eat meat, that being said my source of protein from this place is black beans. Today when I came in while I asked for more beans and the manager ( Erick ) was rude saying it’s only two scoops. He didn’t even offer for me to pay extra, his tone, his body language, his attitude. I do want to continue to eat here and continue to also recommend others do the same. I would appreciate the portion of the veggie bowl be a little more. Specially when people only get 3 things like me, noddles, black beans and carrots. I understand I’m not special but this is a thought. As for Erick, he may need a day off and a raise, something to help him enjoy this job enough to treat people...
