Looking for a great burger? The Woods has amazing smash burgers! My favorite is the Woods burger...seasoned just right, with a delicious bacon jam and signature woods sauce. You can try one of their other signature burgers, like The Cowboy, double meat, signature BBQ sauce, and jalapenos, or build your own! Not feeling a burger? Go on over to Ms. Roses for the best chicken and waffles you've ever tasted...juicy, made on the spot and flavorful... Spicy, Cajun or mild...whatever your heart desires. Then you can choose between delicious fresh made waffles with your choice of real fruit or waffle cut fries. Or both! Their loaded fries are amazing too! These are just two of our favorite spots, but there are many other delicious choices as well. Next time we will be trying the Queen's etoufee at her Cajun spot.. in between the Woods and Rose's. There is also a home style food truck that serves things like meat loaf, hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches, etc, so there's something for everyone, depending on what you crave. While waiting for your food to be fresh made, you can go inside and order drinks with Ms. Stephanie. She can mix you up your favorite drink or you can get a bottled or fountain soda. I do love me an crisp Mexican bottled Coke, or if it's alcohol time, a nice cold Dos Equis suits me just fine as well! On weekends they have live music and different events with lots of seating. You can sit by the stage area or inside/outside in the food truck area if you don't feel like being right in the mix, but still enjoy a little background music. Everyone is super nice, accommodating and again all the food really is delish! 403 is an awesome little hangout to relax or be entertained. The choice is yours! Give them a try...
Read moreI stopped by this place last Sunday. I've seen they had a truck that served birria tacos. I wanted to try those, so I went.
I ordered the tacos and decided to try their catfish as well. Let me say, the food was great. If I'm being honest, I loved the catfish much better than the birria tacos.
The fish was fried and seasoned perfectly. The tacos were good, but something that wouldn't order again.
The food overall is definitely a 5-star, but the service was not. Apparently, they have a wait staff. It was my first time there, so I had no idea where anything was. The waitress never acknowledged me. She literally checked on the table across from twice but never said one thing to me. I simply wanted to know where I could get a coke.
I only figured it out because the table across from me went to go get refills. So I walked over to the bar to order a drink. The waitress was standing behind the bar. As soon as she saw me walk up, she ran off. The second young lady did as well, but she was still visible. I felt so disrespected. At that point, I felt I'd take my business else were since I clearly wasn't welcomed.
As I was walking back to my table to pack up my food, the manager or owner asked how my experience was. He was extremely friendly with great customer service. His approach to me alone is the reason why I am leaving a 3 star because their attitude nearly wrecked my first time. I wanted to go back and try the rest of the trucks, starting with that bbq one. Unfortunately, I won't be back anytime soon.
Food:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service...
Read moreOverall this food truck park is one of the best places in Tomball and we try to go to each one periodically to give them all business but I will say that Venezuelan Taste is the absolute best, and Dexter's Dogs is trash.
Venezeulan Taste I have tried their pabellon 4-5 times and it's perfect each time. The fried plantains, the beans and rice, the beef they don't skimp on, all of it is perfect. I wish they would advertise more on their facebook page because I want them to maintain plenty of business but this is my top place.
Dexter's Dogs my husband tried on an afternoon when no one else was there but us and it still took 20 minutes for them to make his grilled cheese hot dog. The hot dog was so gross. It had a slice of American cheese sort of slapped on there but that's not what lost our future business. It came with tomato soup and my husband stood there watching as they cracked open a can of Campbell's tomato soup and poured it into the bowl before microwaving it. Unbelievable and not even worth including on the menu if that's what customers can expect from a 'gourmet' hot dog place.
Every other food truck I've tried there over the years has been good or great. Inside the building they sell margaritas and drinks and the bathrooms are kept clean. I believe they're clearing ground to add more space which will be really nice if they add more trucks and have an area for kids that's not so close to the main road. Hopefully they put in a small playground or something, we'd prob be there...
