El Kiosko — Restaurant in Tomball

Awesome place. My favorite are the fruit based ice treats called troles. I used to like Bahama Bucks, but the troles blow them away. The troles you can tell are made with real fruit. Buck's drinks have a great icy substance that holds its form well and doesn't melt away too quick but the flavoring is like pure chemicals.

Kiosko has so much more. The fruit salads are also good, as are the sandwiches and tostadas. It's not the cheapest snack but they don't skimp on meat and toppings.

All the savory dishes are based on Mexican foods and can be spicy so consider yourself warned.

The only item on the menu I won't order again is the nachos. It's not that they're bad but they're easily the least spectacular of the store's offerings and are just like what you could make on your own at home. I had high hopes with this place, time and time again they get my order wrong! They get my drink wrong, they get everything wrong. Today my kids went to buy some snacks (helping small business) but I think its the end. I sent my kids with a screen shot of what I wanted from their menu and they came home with something totally different. I wanted a chips loko (tostilocos) and they gave them chips especial with corn and cheese sauce. Something that is un edible. 2) I ordered a Manzana preparada and they sent a dried up green apple with a couple of peanuts. Their service is the worst. The two girls working the front tonight around 5:30pm are not very smart or bright. My husband ordered my same order I always get. (Never changes) and they give him something completely different and he even told them it's not right. They argued with him that it is what he ordered instead of correcting thier mistake. It took me going in there to also have them argue with me and reluctant to give me a refund for what I wasn't about to eat. BECAUSE IT'S NOT WHAT WHAT ORDERED. I had to continue to ask to either replace it with what I actually wanted or a refund, and needless to say it took a while to even get my refund because they were too worried about arguing a pointless argument..
