ODD TEA - TOMBALL — Restaurant in Tomball

I’ve been coming to this location for drinks once a week even prior to it become ODD (it used to be Teahouse). The drinks are always spot on but the service tonight… not at all. I walked in at 7:50PM not realizing they close at 8PM (I typically go on the weekends). I knew exactly what I wanted (they were “out” of boba) and quickly paid. The employee who made my drink was slamming stuff around making it visibly noticeable she was annoyed. I get it. I’m a manager in the service industry and I know last minute walk-in’s can be a burden but it comes with the territory and at the end of the day, that’s the job you signed up for. All of the lights were off, chairs stacked on top of tables and and the doors were locked behind me (she followed me out) all at 7:54PM, even prior to their listed closing time. The customer service was good. Getting your order took more time than I'm used to at a boba place. The boba was good. The smoothie and tea were very good.

I don't recommend the fried squid balls. They were freezer burnt and the flavor of them was quite gross. I've eaten them in Japan so if you know how they taste fresh you'd not be able to stomach the ones they serve here. Very unpleasant tasting.

Waited forever while the lady washing dishes completely ignores me. She finally walks up to the desk to take my order and just stares like she’s irritated that I’m there. I asked for a tea that shows on the menu to be un caffeinated and when I ask to make sure there’s no caffeine, she keeps saying that tea only comes with caffeine. I’m confused because that’s not what the menu shows. I finally get flustered by the way she’s just standing there, staring at me blankly and decide to leave without ordering.
