I bought 3 items from the store. The person before me did not want her receipt and it was left on the cash Register. The assistant who packed up my things wrote the prices on a blank piece of paper for the person at the cash register to enter them but she didn't pay attention and went by the receipt that was already there on the cash register. I didn't realized what she had done until I left the store and realized that I was overcharged for my items. I went back into the store and got back into the line. I explained to another lady who was now assisting at the cash register and gave her the receipt to show her that my items did not correspond to what's on the receipt. She then called the manager and I had to explain the whole situation to him. He then made me wait for the line to clear out before he could assist me. Then he asked me for the receipt, I told him I had given it to the lady at the register. She did not have it. They found it after they looked into their trash container. I told him that I was charged according to the receipt that belong to the person before me. I also showed him the change that was given back to me which was exactly what was on the receipt. He didn't believed me and looked at all the previous charges on the roll of their receipt record which he could not find because the person who rang me up never enter my items. I will never set my foot in this place ever again. I had been a regular customer here for a long time. They need to train their employees better. I feel that no one even listened to me much...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have shopped here for years, and always found neat things at affordable prices. I'm not cheap. I don't mind paying for things when they are nice, but my friend and I visited this store last week and I was so disappointed. The prices really were ridiculous. The prices were so very high, that I told her we need to take this store off of our thrifting list from now on. ā¹ļø A set of more modern corelle dishes, (not even the complete set because I have the set at home )was priced at $60 something dollars. I can buy them brand new delivered for less than that. Things that had price tags on them from when they were bought new, were priced at the original price someone paid when the item was new. There was a vase from dollar general with the DG sticker on it for $8. Resale with a purpose sticker was $10. It's sad when a good thing gets ruined by pure greediness. I don't mind helping people , and I love thrifting... but whoever has went so sky high on prices here has absolutely ruined it for me. I spent several hundred dollars every month here, and I helped move old out, to make room for the new. With prices like that, things will sit and not move... until they get someone else with some sense to start over again. Sad. The old Peter principal... If prices stay like they were last week, this place will fail soon. Very few people were buying things that day, and usually there is a line at the register. So for now, I'll take my donations on down the road donating for a good cause, and choose to spend my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe prices are high and the store is cramped. Even with them remodeling itās still cramped. And they will price an item more then itās actually worth. I actually have a picture of this jacket we bought, it has its brand new tag on it where they literally scratched out the ROSS price tag and then upmarked their price tag a dollar more. Iām extremely irritated at myself for not catching this before having paid that, actually I didnāt pay that, my mom did for my birthday. Even more irritated that a Christian thrift store would do that. You get stuff donated to you and thatās a real dirty practice. Iāve worked thrift stores in other states, as well shopped thrift stores in Ohio, colorado, Utah, Texas, Texas already is one of the most expensive states for thrifting. But this charging more than the ticket price for a defective item is so unacceptable. Itās a greed that doesnāt settle with me very well. Specially when we told you in the store mom had stage 4 cancer! A question was ask to mum and I blurted it out. So out of principle I will not be shopping at your store anymore. I will not suggest Your store and I will explain my experiences there. And I have my picture of the scratched out price tag and their price tag still attached to the jacket which Iāll gladly show. People whoāve been in your store will recognize the price tag...
