C&G's Country Cafe — Restaurant in Toms River

I really felt the need to come write a review for C&G's today after eating their food via DoorDash. Now, not many restaurants are good enough to have their food delivered by DoorDash. There are many factors involved in these situations, but I absolutely know it is no coincidence that whenever I order and get my food from C&G's, I am never disappointed.

Although Sunday brunch is incredibly busy the wait here is well worth the time spent. The large variety of items on their menu reflects attention to traditional style items such that you will want to come back as a regular to try everything. Sissy meets you at the door and takes your name, and you get a beeper to notify you your table is ready. The servers come immediately for your beverage and order- it's wonderful. Food is brought out within minutes piping hot and in large quantity to satisfy your hunger.

Their smoothies are great and delicious, Brick House's fresh cold brew coffee, and a Lincaccino- half coffee/half hot chocolate with whipped cream! Daily specials 7 days a week.

Very nice attentive staff you only get in a family-owned business. Try HALEY, the head chef's specialty - Haley's Hash- bacon, veggies cheddar cheese piled high on hashbrowns w 2 poached eggs. Add a bagel and or Canadian bacon to round off your breakfast. Waffles, Wraps, Salads, Burgers, oat, fruit and yogurt bowls- the list is endless.

Try the shrimp salad BLT on a croissant daily served w fries, mac salad and pickle. There's not enough time to rave enough about C&G's Country Cafe. And they have a location in Bayville: Grits & Grace you should try as well with...

I was in Toms River visiting relatives and they took me to their favorite breakfast spot. C & G‘s Country Café was everything they told me and more!!

It was Sunday morning so they were rather busy - even still they managed to very efficiently handle their waiting list and seat us in short order.

We were greeted by our server almost instantly and she promptly took our orders on her mobile device. (My bad for not remembering her name.) i appreciate that she repeated our order to make sure she had all our entrees including the special requests entered on our order.

We ordered carrot cake pancakes to share and I had the C & G‘s omelette (add avocado) with extra crispy home fries and English muffin. Both we delicious and both were huge portions.

They process your credit card payment at the table which is a huge plus to be assured of no credit card funny business.
