I used to really like Chili's, but I was pretty disappointed this last visit. I don't remember our server's name, but she was great! Very friendly and attentive! We started with some margaritas. I think the one I had was called "El Niño". It was actually very good! Not to sweet and you could taste the tequila. The tortilla chips were kinda greasy and the guacamole was overly spiced. The bacon cheese fries were good though. Our entrees quickly followed before we even finished the appetizers. The runner who brought out the food used the plates he was putting down to push the other plates across the table and out of the way. Our fajitas didn't even come out sizzling. They were bland. I could see a sauce on the chicken, but it had no flavor. The knife cuts were terrible. Fajitas literally means "little strips", but the peppers and onions were more like chunks. The root end was even still attached to a lot of the onions. You could even fit them in the tortillas. Speaking of which, the tortillas weren't even hot when they came out. The beans were watery. They lacked any sort of seasoning aside from a little spiciness. The desserts were pretty good. The skillet cookie was rich and decadent with decent vanilla ice cream. The cheesecake was actually better than expected. It was light and not overly sweet. The graham cracker crust had a nice flavor. Only downside was that they put it on a warm plate, which then made the cheesecake warm. The strawberry sauce was decent. It had a fresh strawberry flavor. If this is the new standard at Chili's, I probably won't be quick to return. There's more...
Read moreWas there New Year’s Eve with the family. We arrived around 5-5:30pm. Our waitress, Sam, was friendly, sweet, and tried to keep a smile on her face throughout the night. Unfortunately, we waited almost two hrs for our food, but there were a couple of other tables, whom, I noticed, arrived a bit later and got their food sooner. As the night went on the restaurant got busier, so the staff, I’m sure, were swamped. By the end of the night our poor waitress was tired. And, I believe, a bit irritated with us, because we kept asking for our missing meal we ordered to go. We asked before leaving, and she was, it seemed to all of us, frustrated. She said she had given us the meal on several occasions and didn’t seem to believe us. She practically made us open the bags of to go left overs we had. I believe she may have thought we were trying to get a free meal. Finally, she decided to go back to the kitchen to check, and came back with the meal in a clear container and plastic bag, and apologized. We understood it was a very busy night and we did not not complain about our meals being extremely late. But, we were quite “uneasy”, that we were treated as if though we were liars and trying to get...
Read moreThey wouldn't let me post no stars. We decided to do something other then Friday's or the Diner..that was mistake number 1. They told us its a 45 minute wait but text us after 20 mins. Then they give one menu to a table of 5. We're trying to break the kids of the habit of bringing phones to the table so we had to share one menu.. Husband was craving the cheese curds appetizer..they were all out. We ordered our meals minus certain toppings. No bacon on the fajitas, no tomato on the chicken sandwich..they were made as written on the menu. Asked for bbq sauce with the ribs and never received that. Waitress never came back to check on us after bringing refills. Took forever to get carryout boxes. One of the guests in our party walked out with their tray. A waitress looked right at them and let them leave. After standing at the table for 5 or so minutes I asked another waitress for a box. She pleasantly brought us one. Then our waitress appears and asks if we need anything. Worst customer service ever and the food...
