Well this is the “go to” place for meats , sausage chicken and hot dogs , then there’s a large freezer refrigerator loaded with raviolis and various types of pasta combos and a huge assortment of homemade on site sauces to compliment the pastas and raviolis . A direct and concise variety of fresh vegetables for various dishes you could concoct to compliment the meat sold here . There’s a very large selection of fresh breads from big name bakeries on hand but they sell out daily so get there early for that also there’s a special section of high end high quality rye breads Russian Lithuanian marble rye and pumpernickel . While you’re there early you can partake in the Jersey shores best breakfast sandwich priced way below the going rate of the surrounding establishments . A whole egg sub sandwich with cheese SPK $7. !!! That’s right feeds two easily and leave you full ! Every week they have a lunch special whole sub sandwich written up on the black board so Look there first for the weekly lunch treat before you order ! I’ve eaten the specials sandwich and it’s always incredible now there are various cooked foods delicious and ready to go home to your air fryer oven or microwave. They also have fresh home made salads in a variety assortment . For the finish on a meal try the Dessert case, it has a very eclectic supply of delicious desserts to finish off and compliment any meal you can compose . If this all isn’t enough there are a few aisles of canned and jarred standard groceries as well making “LENNYS” a true one stop shop for your dinner needs . Now let me state this clearly “LENNYS” is of a high quality standard and as such you Will not find Cheap products by quality and the prices are fair to that end ! You get what you pay for in life and that holds true at LENNY’s you’ll pay a little more over the big store but you are what you eat & the QUALITY AND THE SERVICE are amazing everyone is always helpful accessible and friendly and they are well staffed ! You may need to tell them you’re not ready yet that’s ok because there’s a big selection and you’ll want to take your time and unlike the big grocery store when you are ready so are they ! Very refreshing practice on their part . The meat counter staff will also field any concerns you have about the products and helpfully suggest trying different things known to please the regular consumers . I was told to try the “ BERKSHIRE PORK CHOPS” and that if I did I’d never eat another regular pork chop again ….. well let me say this was the BEST PORK CHOP I EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE ! I still can not believe I went 62 years in life and never had one . I’m ruined for life once you go Berkshire you’ll never go back ! I left 5 stars because its always good, but I have a story

It was approximately 6:30PM on a Saturday, 85 degrees and sunny A whole night ahead of me. My stomach growls, I think, Where can I go to fulfill my hunger. Well Lenny's is always my favorite choice. So I take a car ride windows down! music up! I arrive at lennys, Just thinking oh boy. I can't wait to get home and pig out on a giant lennys sandwich. I walked into the crisp cool atmosphere, where I was greated by a young new person. He asked can I help you? I said yes sir! I would love a half tuna sandwich, with a lot of pickles, lettuce and onion! He said okay, but its a extra charge for pickles. I said thats absolutely okay, because im a pickle enthusiast. He began weighing the tuna for my sandwich. I thought hmm very odd. My friends that were with me placed a order with a different person while I was placing mine. He than asked me what I wanted on my sandwich again. I repeated myself kindly. He placed my accurately weighed tuna, my guess (1 to 2 ounces). And than turned around and asked me a third time what I wanted on my sandwich. I was taken back. But hey people get forgetful. I peacefully repeated my self for a third time. After finishing his so called Master piece of a tuna sandwich, weighing 4 to 5 ounces with 6 pickles and a pinch of lettuce, i was excited because now, at least my arm won't hurt carrying the rationed out tuna sandwich thats in high demand during these hard times.. I checked out with lovely cashiers, where i believe the person who made my sandwich should work.. than get in the car for a delightful ride home with my friends! We get to the house where I'm excited to go crazy on this tuna sandwich. When we walked into the house and the guys all open there food. It was at this moment my friends made fun of my "tiny kids sandwich" "my happy meal" while they all ate there giant normal lennys sandwich. I felt dehumanizing, i felt small, I felt as if I was a child again With a broken heart, I decided that the thing left is to take the abuse giving to me, while I eat my very tiny lennys tuna sandwich. The end. This is a serious story.

This is the ultimate deli. From the time I moved to the Silverton section of Ocean County in 2004 to the present, they've never disappointed me or my guests when I've used them for catering. Everything is so yummy/fresh, their wide selection of ready cooked foods, cold cuts, salads, desserts, fresh cut to order butcher meats/cheeses, dairy, produce & assortment of groceries. All are excellent & they are so much better than getting fast food. The selection of premium meats are the best-I've ordered prime rib for the holidays & the meat was ready to cook, flavorful, tender & absolutely delicious. Several years I ordered the Thanksgiving dinner already cooked & ready to serve. What a great idea that turned out to be! I tried using another deli closer to my current home just once- was so disappointed & I returned to use Lenny's- why change from a great thing! All the employees/staff are friendly, helpful & attentive- even when the store is filled with customers & they are super busy. They have a system, expedite everything & it moves quickly. Their pastries are divine & (dangerous for those like me) with a sweet tooth.; "just one" almost always becomes two. With a deli on almost every corner in Ocean County, I always drive the extra miles to Lenny's ensure I'll be happy with my purchases. Couldn't recommend...
