We were driving 4 hours and had another hour and a half left till we got to our destination and got hungry and stopped for some dinner here. We arrived at 11:04 pm and since we are towing a car with our truck, we cannot fit through the drive through. Their curbside was closed sadly through the app, their lobby was closed at 11 pm but we walked in when we saw there was another family inside still and wanted to ask if we could get food either through the curbside, inside, or if they’ll allow us to walk through the drive through since we have our truck and trailer and can’t fit. One of the employees said “I’ll go ask my manager.” As said manager comes back, she’s constantly saying “no, no, no only drive through” and I re-explained our situation about how we can’t drive through, so if they could do one more order or allow us to walk through and she kept cutting me off and said “no, no” to all ideas. I mean it’s MCDONALDS, I understand following policy’s but…. Where’s your humanity with understanding people’s situation, guess she doesn’t want money #1 or #2 she’s on a power trip and likes to feel in control when people are in need. Explained the situation at hand with us traveling the past 4 hours and had more ahead of us and wanted more fuel for the road and she still would rudely interrupt and say “no no drive through only” once again. Not to mention her own employees mentioning “she’s on one today” was quite hilarious, then seeing that power trip, 0 humanity in the manager for trying to problem solve, especially when given questions on how to solve this problem and would of taken 1 minute but she wanted to feel in power and left us with no options. Horrible management and will never come back to this location, imagine your own employees even have humanity but your management does not… quite sad frankly. But her fault for missing out on a $40-$50 order because I was hungry...
Read moreArrived as cash register was being closed out and new one opened. Never greeted by manager or cashier. Placed order. Inputted completely wrong. Received meals. Fries cold. Hamburger made wrong. (Requested no cheese. Received cheese. ) Sent back. Received "corrected" burger. This one, burnt. Returned. Finally received correct burger. 2nd meal. Big Mac combo. Fries cold. Sandwich appeared to have been prepared inside the box with a salad! I realize it's Christmas. I realize nobody wants to work on Christmas Day. But if you have to be here - please do your job! Add to that the poor attitude of what I can assume is a trained manager and I am not surprised that meals are leaving the kitchen completely screwed up. While I was waiting to be served and again while I was waiting for my order to be fixed - the manager, or person that appeared to be in charge, was on her phone texting. Rude and unprofessional. No surprise that the quality of service at this location is so poor. And, at least 2 other people had their orders screwed up while we ate. One was a woman with young children who got home and discovered that not all of the food they ordered made it in their bags! There's no excuse for the awful service or the bad attitudes of the staff! The one bright spot is one crew member that I see nearly every time I come in. I wish I knew her name, she is always so friendly - and she is the only staff member I have seen at this location that not only takes pride in her work, but she seems to be the only one that does windows, washes tables or mops/cleans the lobby area! Read moreThis location is outrageously busy all the time and it can be hard to even get into their parking lot because of the drive thru line. Because of this I decided that going in would probably be faster.
It Was Not.
The restaurant is crowded and noisy. Obviously people enjoy meeting here and letting their kids enjoy the children's area. The restaurant is clean, though, and the staff works hard to keep it looking good.
I ordered through the self service screen because they only had one employee at the counter. There were two orders in front of mine on the screen when I was done. It took over 30 minutes after placing it to receive my order.
Updating this 5 months after my last review because the customer service has declined sharply. Today we chose to park in the pickup parking for our online order. 20 minutes after the app said our order would be out in 2-5 minutes I went in to retrieve our food just to be told they had already brought it to us. Despite my knowing that they absolutely had not done so they insisted that I return to my car and "double check". ((????)) If course upon returning to my car there was still no food there, and only when I returned to the store did someone bring me our now-cold food with the excuse that "nobody told her it was ready to bring out." The manager being unable to see it still sitting in the staging area waiting to be brought to me while she was insisting that I somehow missed being presented with food at my car...
