I visited Cold Stone Creamery for a birthday treat, hoping for a sweet experience.
While the cheesecake berries mix was delicious and the ladies behind the counter were friendly and attentive, the overall visit left much to be desired.
The biggest issue? The ice cream melted shockingly fast. I opted for a cone, and before I could enjoy it properly, my strawberries dropped onto the floor. The paper cup provided didn’t help either—it dripped constantly, making it a messy and rushed experience. It was honestly the first time I had to eat ice cream so swiftly, just to avoid a complete meltdown.
The store environment also needs attention. The floor and tables were quite sticky, which added to the discomfort. I’d strongly suggest the owner consider turning the air conditioning cooler to help with the melting issue and mopping the floor and wiping down surfaces more frequently to maintain a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Even I tried to cleaned my spot, it would still be sticky.
Cold Stone has great flavors and service, but the ambience and presentation need improvement—especially if it’s meant to be a popular spot for signature ice cream.
Get a cone on a bowl is a much wiser choice.
Thank you for the nice...
Read moreIce cream was a real sweet treat. A total delight. Service, the two times I’ve been there has been, has been less than delightful. The people that work there make me feel like they hate me and are inconvenienced by my existence wanting a delicious sweet treat. They are always just standing around in a group while one person does everything. That miserable person acts like they want to quit. Also, I tell the girl I want my dang rainbow sprinkles mixed into my cotton candy ice cream and graham cracker mixed into my banana cream. She told me “yeah…” and looked at me like I was dumb then She smashed the two flavors together without mixing them with the mix ins I asked for and then pours sprinkles and graham crackers all over the top. I don’t want sprinkles in my nana pudding and I surely don’t want graham crackers in my cotton candy. Why didn’t she listen and why was she rude? The toppings were falling off everywhere and making a huge mess. Then after two bites, there was no mix ins throughout the whole rest of the ice cream. Also, what’s up with the ground being wet? Someone complained 5 months ago. At least put a wet...
Read moreI don’t write reviews but I feel like this one is needed. My husband and I were passing through on vacation excited to get Coldstone ice cream together. We ordered our ice cream and was handed a cone with ice cream so melted that it looked like soup. The girl that made it told one of her other co-workers that it was super melty but then proceeds to hand it to me anyway. I asked if this was supposed to be this melted and the girl says yes, that’s how that ice cream is. To my mistake, I should’ve not bought the ice cream and walked out, but I was in shock to really think about it too much. Sadly won’t be back at this location. Below is the picture of what I ordered verses what I got. And no it wasn’t hot outside. I couldn’t even finish the cone because it melted through the paper and made a mess everywhere....
