I ordered a choose 2 on the app got two half sandwiches and was offered an option of a pickle spear on both so I checked it on both hoping I would get a pickle on one at least but they didn’t include the pickle AGAIN. Maybe it means you don’t want a pickle when you check the little box but it does say add a pickle spear in the app so I am guessing the app is wrong and when it comes out over their side it says don’t add a pickle spear. Otherwise the sandwiches were good. I just wish if they are offering something and you say you want it they would give it to you. Teasing people with stuff isn’t very nice if they didn’t do that I would give them an extra star. But really what can you expect from a bunch of high school kids. Plus I said I was going to pick it up to go and I kept waiting for my order to show up on the shelves they had for orders to go but it was taking forever so I finally went to ask and they told me they didn’t use those so that was a little aggravating to know I wasted my time waiting after following their instructions and reading their signs in the store. They need to put a sign there that says we don’t use this pick your order up at the counter because they weren’t that busy and they were just watching me sit there watching that shelf for 15 minutes while 1 person was working in the back. So I removed another star for that. Like I said. Bunch of High school kids that want to joke around and play on their phones or flirt. I know H.S. Kids are cheap labor but really you probably shouldn’t have more than 1 when you aren’t busy or more than 2 or 3 when you are especially in the same area. Because the kids of today aren’t like the kids from the 90’s and before and I should probably be saying the...
Read moreI had ordered a 'Choose two' for my wife and wanted the Grilled Caeser wrap and Spud Max and was told they were out of potatoes. I had to change my order to the Pecan Berry salad and was told they were out of blueberries as well.I had asked for extra sauce for the wrap and the salad and received no extra sauce at all and the wrap was not a wrap it was more so just all the ingredients thrown in the to-go container with a tortilla. That was only the imperfections with my wife's food, onto mine now. I ordered the Orange Cranberry Club and potato salad as a side and was given a house salad after repeating 3 times during my phone call-carry out order that I wanted potato salad not a regular salad. The orange cranberry club was a regular club with mayo on it, no orange marmalade, 1/4 of the club sliced into quarters had cranberry on it but that was the only effort made to make it dissimilar to the regular club. The bread was falling apart and was plated sloppy as I had to construct my sandwich as my wife had to her Caesar wrap. Oh and the sandwich tasted like cleaning products, I didn't even finish half of it. The point of ordering out, other than to help restaurants during the pandemic, is to make dinner easy and convenient. That was not the case at all in my last experience. I hadn't asked them to remake my food given the very little effort that had already gone into my order. I was sure it would be the same food sent out to me again since it was about 20 minutes to closing time or close enough to it or tampered with due to the inconvenient timing or excessive effort. We have been coming to this McAllister's Deli for several years now and have never been so disappointed with the quality...
Read moreI am not one to normally ever take time out of my day to write a negative review towards a business. However, this is the second time I have had less than a desirable experience at this location. Some of your employees need to seriously be trained on their customer service skills. When a customer is ordering pick up they are usually in a time crunch and your employees have no concern for anyones time other than time for their own personal conversations. I came in and waited behind a gentleman for a while. After listening to their personal conversation for some time I finally interrupted and told her I had a pick up order. She said there was a delay because they ran out of cooked potatoes and it would be just a few more minutes. Cool, fine, whatever. I sat and waited. They continued conversating. After a while, a bag was placed on the counter and she walked off. It remained sitting there for a good 5 minutes without a name being called for the order. No one was at the counter so I approached someone clearing a table. I told her I assumed the order was mine and that I've been waiting a while and to please check. She acted like I was an inconvenience to disturb what she was doing. She checked, said it was mine and walked off. By this time my food is just simply sitting there getting cold. As I have said, I never do this. However, your crew really needs to step up their game because I left 100% unimpressed...
