The Tee Box - Golf Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Topeka

This is truly a gem for Topeka. The vibe and decor is fantastic and golf themed. The country friedsteak breakfast bowl will be my go to at 10$. The menu is interesting and has a pretty good variety. The food could use a little bit of tweaking and maybe bigger portions for the cost, but it definitely wasn’t bad. Let’s be real though. We’re here to play GOLF. The golf bays are fair priced and they really excel at what they are offering at The Tee Box. Top of the line industry standard equipment with the Trackman. Many courses to play. The service has always been great and the employees are all kind and chill. The bays are set up well with nice aesthetically pleasing seating and furniture. There’s enough space to feel safe with all of the swings happening and I didn’t feel like the other bays or patrons were encroaching into my space. I’d feel totally fine taking a date here. They have lots of good golf equipment available even though I prefer to play my own. I’d recommend giving a bucket with 12 balls at the beginning because retrieving every shot is annoying. I got my heart rate up and broke a sweat in there during a half hour session. They did a fantastic job creating this space and it is the best place I’ve been to in downtown Topeka. It is easily the best sim experience for 100 miles and maybe more. I hate to give it such good ratings because then it will always be busy(lol) but the Tee Box definitely earned a great review from me. I don’t drink but the bar is classy and well stocked. We have stopped in several times and I just realized I have never left a review! This is my absolute favorite local spot to eat out and have drinks. Their drinks are creative and fun, I have tried several different seasonal ones. The Pink Lady was my favorite but the one I had last visit was surprisingly delicious for the ingredients it listed. The food... omg the food is to die for. The BBQ Nachos are my favorite starter. You HAVE to try the Hot Honey Salmon tacos. I get mine on corn tortillas and they are just perfect. For dessert I love equally the Bucket o' Balls and The Finale. Bartenders are great, funny, friendly, and fast. It's always a good laugh when there. You can also order online and take to go. The only thing I have not done here is golf but I imagine I will try it one day. Its the food and atmosphere that bring us back time and again. I have been in love with this place since they first opened. I found my calling to play golf at random a few summers ago and this place is the sole reason as to why my game is where it is today! Even though I have taken a step back from playing since welcoming my first child, the joy and interactions from the staff are always very welcoming each and every time we stop by! Jake and the team are top notch and the always rotating beer and liquor offerings are a treat when you swing by! The data Trackman provides is by far the greatest in the industry and this place makes me dream of owning my own personal simulator one day!
