As an avid fast-food connoisseur, I often find myself at Wendy's, seeking the comfort of their time-tested classic burgers and sensational fries. During my recent visit, I encountered a couple of unexpected hitches but left with a warm smile and an appreciation for the customer service that deserves a commendation.
Upon my arrival, I encountered a technical issue with the payment terminal. This would typically spell out a nightmarish delay at any fast-food outlet, however, at Wendy's, it turned into an opportunity to witness their staff's dedication and diligence. Ryan, a wonderful employee at the front, was instrumental in maintaining a positive and cool attitude throughout the ordeal. His patient and professional demeanor, amidst the stress, was truly admirable.
But, what impressed me even more was the immediate intervention from Arline, the manager. Her prompt and efficient resolution to the problem was exemplary. As a seasoned manager, she showcased a perfect balance of technical skill and leadership qualities by not only rectifying the issue at hand but also ensuring the queue did not build up.
In addition to this hiccup, there was a slight mix-up with my order. But instead of creating a further delay, this issue was resolved with the same brisk efficiency. The speed at which they corrected my order only reaffirmed my faith in their service.
But Arline's demonstration of top-tier customer service did not end there. To apologize for the mishaps, she graciously offered a 'buy one get one free' deal, which, in my opinion, was a delightful surprise! Her gesture certainly transformed my experience from potentially frustrating to absolutely wonderful.
In conclusion, even though I experienced a couple of bumps in the beginning, the staff's exceptional handling of the situation converted the whole experience into a pleasant one. Wendy's has made it clear that they prioritize their customers, and this visit was proof of their dedication. As a customer, I truly appreciate their hard work and initiative. My hat's off to Ryan and Arline who were the superstars of the day!

Read moreI went in around 12:30, knowing it would be busy. I was fine with that. But the young girl behind the register was super slow, almost seemed lost, and didn’t have any customer service knowledge. She took everyone’s orders then stopped at me to get them ready. Again she seemed lost, like she didn’t know what went with what order. No one helped her, the fry guy just stood there and even took a quick break while she tried to gather everything together. After waiting for around 15 minutes, during which I went through the app to see what deals there were and selected the one I wanted, she finally was ready to take my order. I help up the QR code for her scan in and she looked at me and said,”what’s that?” After waiting for a total a of around 30 minutes just to give my order, I had enough. I just said ,”Nope, I’m done,” and left. I know I have seen her multiple times in the last couple of months so I know she is not new, but not to know what the Wendy’s app looks like, really. If she can’t do the job why is she still working the counter? Because of this, I will never go back to that location and will tell everyone I know what happened and not to go there. I expected it to take a little while since it was lunch time, but to have that happen after waiting that long....

Person taking the order was not the friendliest, said it would take 7 minutes for the chicken to cook, and I actually prefer to wait for fresh food so thats fine, but when they send out old chicken to make the drive thru standard is ridiculous and lazy. Also when we called to let them know they missed a baconator fry they said there was nothing they could do because the "new person" rang us up and it didn't say baconator fry. Thats also fine, because maybe they were new, but when I drive back to order just a fry, they now want to say the card readers are down and they've "been on the phone with IT all night", not knowing that I was there less than 20 minutes prior and paid with a card (yes, I realize it can happen that quick, but why lie about it?), so on top of unprofessional and inaccurate you can throw lazy on top. Didnt get a receipt so couldn't leave a review on the website. Manager was a skinny white girl in a blue shirt that took our order the time and passed her mistake off as "it was a trainee" and I cant say for certain but I'm sure she knew who we were as this location was not busy at the time and I can see why.
