We came to this restaurant around 1 p.m. and it was very, very busy. The line was very long. After we ordered our food, we found a seat. But after about 30 minutes, we didnât get our food. At first, we didnât worry because many customers who came earlier than us didnât get their food as well.
But after we waited for around 40 minutes, we found that the customers who came later than us got their food and we had not yet. So we asked the staff why, and we got the reply that they completely forgot our order. I felt very frustrated and asked for a refund. But considering that my girlfriend really liked this restaurant and we drove for more than one hour to get there, I asked the staff if they could prepare our food in 10 or 15 minutes. But no one said yes. They just apologized and didnât offer any solution. We had nothing we could do, so the only choice for us was to ask for a refund and leave to find some new food. We were very frustrated and disappointed with this experience.
We totally understand that it was a small restaurant and it was very busy, but this mistake is just too low-level and not acceptable. I know they should have some capacity to handle this. If they are too busy and it's beyond their capability, they should do something to control the situation, but they didn't. They didn't offer any solution.
I believe losing only two customers doesnât matter to them because theyâre too popular and too busy, and we are not important at all. So that was our experience yesterday. At first, I didnât want to give a bad review on Google because I know itâs not easy for a small business, but I feel more and more angry even today, no one cares us at all! So I finally decided to write a negative...
Read moreWe knew we were in for something authentic when my family and I were the only ones of non-Japanese descent in the establishment. It was nice to hear people all around us speaking Japanese and enjoying their meals. It made us excited to sit down and eat. The staff is really nice and assisted us in choosing the perfect meal for us. The noodles had a nice consistency; it was bouncy and chewy. The dipping sauce was delicate with a deep flavor of dried fish and soy. Though the soba dish was beautifully done, it wasn't 100% my cup of tea, but the rest of my family really enjoyed it. I do have to say that I enjoyed the Kakiage bowl. The rice had a nice bounce, and the vegetable and shrimp fritter was seasoned well. The fritter had a thin crisp batter that maintained its crisp through to the last bite. The restaurant is counter service, so please be kind and considerate. Bus your table after your meal. There is a shelf by the service counter to return your...
Read moreI visited on a Friday afternoon around 2 p.m. while waiting for my tire to be assessed at Crash Champions. The restaurant had plenty of seating, and the front counter staff was very welcoming. I ordered the soba and rice bowl combo, but unexpectedly had to leave to pick up my car. The staff kindly offered to hold onto my food in the kitchen to ensure it would still be warm when I returned.
When I finally got to enjoy my meal, the soba was exceptionalâthe broth had a rich, nutty miso base that paired perfectly with the fresh, crisp cucumbers and the wonderfully chewy noodles. The tempura was a standoutâcrispy, lightly sweet, and bursting with flavor.
The entire staff was courteous and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. The meal felt authentic and relaxing. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a satisfying and...
