I always come here and though there has been some mishaps with my order, I still go back. The food is good. Beatrice is the best. Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with who I believe is the manager. He's a male who I see but not often. This was my first time dining in ( I usually pick up) . I wanted to take my daughter to lunch. Our food was given to us outside on the patio. I got up and went inside and asked for salsa and ketchup. He sighed as though I was annoying him. When I ordered another drink, I felt bad and kept apologizing because he made me feel so bothersome. I brushed it off and went back out to continue my lunch date.
My daughter's rice and beans came in small to go cups which made it difficult for her to eat together. She went inside and asked for a bowl and later told me that the man sighed and rolled his eyes when she asked for the bowl. That made me extremely upset. I can deal with the rudeness towards me but it's a problem when it's towards my CHILD. No grown man should roll his eyes and sigh at a CHILD. Was she really asking for too much?? His customer service could definitely use some improvement because that is unacceptable. I would have addressed this with the manager but I believe he is...
Read moreI've had two bad incidents out of around 10 times going here.
The first was my order was placed on the carryout rack and my name never called. After a FULL HOUR, I showed the kid working cashier, he attempted to get his supervisor's attention to point out the issue. Before he could explain she annoyingly blurts out, "he'll just have to wait for his turn!!" After realizing the issue and she sent someone else to come give me a coupon even though we never spoke before. I'm guessing out of embarrassment.
The second is tonight, if your hours are posted and nothing says "Last orders by :", then it doesn't matter if the place closes in 7-10 minutes, you shouldn't deny an order. I respect when a place displays when they end service, but not just randomly decides to stop.
There is a difference between "the right to refuse service" based on actions and thinking you're an authority over your customer base. No apology was given to that kid working cashier or me when she snapped at him and ending service randomly different nights is careless. Post it so it looks...
Read moreI work locally, and everyone in my place of business are huge fans of this Rubios. We normally have great service and great food. Except today. I called in the place, what would have been a huge order, but after being placed on hold and then forgotten for over 15 mins, my co workers decided to eat else where. I still order for myself. But the process to get the food was beyond disappointing. I had to call back, from a seperate line to be address and then had her pick up the orginal call so that she could see that she had me on hold for over 15 minutes. the same young lady answered me both times. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told she was the Shift lead. Imagine. If this is the managment now in place I will not order here again, and I will not recommend it to my co workers either. Whom already were discouraged. What upset me most, is she never even apologized. I will be calling back to speak with the...
