Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Torrance

We have never been here. We decided to stop by only because my son recieved a certificate for a free 7inch pizza with 1 topping. We arrived at 1:55 pm and i said let me try an item on the menu. Well i decided to go with all you can eat lunch buffet . Mind you theres a arcade room for kids. I ate left my food and box with my sons free pizza on the table along with both drinks. We sat down i ate waited for my sons pizza . The guy came up to me stated you dropped $2.00. I headed toward the arcade to have some fun with my kid. After 5 minutes returning to my table , its cleaned!!!! We were there for about 20 minutes.I informed the guy "HUNTER" we werent done and this was his response " It's my job to clean the table"! If that wasn't rude enough. I was waiting for the manager and HUNTER came by and said " I gave you your 2 dollars dont have a attitude"!! And he walked away. I was so shocked. Shakeys has great customer service skills! Just as any customer would be upset confused and In shock! The managers name is CARLOS . He was a joke like his worker. Think twice about going here. Walking in here is like going to a ghost town. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE . Shakeys dont assume we finished our food ! Ask us or come up with a clever idea to be informed if the customer left the establishment and to not loose money!

To sum it all up i got my refund ... Whoop whoop and my son still has his free pizza.... N i ate y'all food. Lol y'all played yourself! Your food was disgusting tasted worser that a county hospital!!...

We ordered an 8 pc chicken at this location for takeout. Drove home and opened the box of chicken well surprise “chicken was over cooked, rubbery, hard and burnt” such a DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!! Immediately called the Store back and i asked to speak to a manager and the order taker said that the manager was on his break and that i can just leave a message. Mind you I explained to this person what the issue was , she didn’t seem like she cared so she transferred my call and surprisingly someone answered the call and then hanged up! RUDE!!! So after an hour I called the store back and was able to speak to the manager. Hank the manager said yes he got the message and he is going to give me a store credit. So I said i don’t want a store credit i want my money back and he argued with me that in order for me to get my money back is if I come back to the store the same day with my receipt. I was like SERIOUSLY ….. I am not driving this late night. This is ya’ll fault and you want make me to drive back “ABSOLUTELY NOT “ So i said i want a refund and he said there system would not allow them to do refund over the phone. He said best he can do was a store credit. Long story short I will pay a visit on Monday and speak with the General Manager about the situation. This service here at this place is horrible. We placed our order and waited almost an hour and no food. Mind you there were only 3 small families including ours. Went to the manager and everyone was pointing fingers and blaming each other. I asked him if there was anything he can do for me and he said he could give me a refund but I wouldn’t get my food. So take it or leave it. We were hungry so I asked him for our food. When it came out, it was the wrong pizza. This manager was a Caucasian older man. Rude plain and simple. It so happened that when we were arguing with him about our wait and how the food was wrong, a new manager came in and the cashier asked us if we wanted to talk to him instead. We said yes. We explained the situation to the new manager a younger Hispanic male, and he immediately said no problem. He refunded our money and also brought out our food. Now this is customer service. I really appreciate this new manager and the time he took to understand us and fix our situation. Not like the other manager that did’t care. I don’t think I would ever come back to this place. Mind you that this was our first time here and we were looking at it to have our daughter’s birthday celebration here. I guess we’re just going to go somewhere else and celebrate.
