I think I'm being generous with 2 stars. Staff was friendly but obviously inexperienced. The food was bland.I guess I'm a little upset I ordered " steak kabobs." Read the menu I posted. I didn't make a mistake, and neither did the restaurant. It's plural. After I received my dish I mentioned it to the staff and they offered to order me an additional kabob. I told them no, I'm just disappointed that it's 2oz of meat for a 19$ dish. My wife got the Alfredo with chicken, and she was staving, but she agreed it was bland. Positives are that it is extremely convenient if you are staying at the hotel and the beer was cold. If you are not staying at the hotel, there is a subway across the way. At least you know what you are getting.

We had a great experience at The Rock Garden. If you are driving by, it is attached to the Red Sands Hotel. It is very cozy and well designed. They have full bar and several tables to dine at. Currently we are in the middle of Covid-19 and The Rock Garden did a great job of helping groups social distance. The views from restaurant are are very scenic which makes sense given the proximity to Coral Reef National Park. We dined in for dinner and had the Pasta Primavera and the Chicken Margherita. They were delicious and very filling. We also had a side of the sweet potatoes (be sure to order these!). The menu had a great variety of options for meat lovers and veggie lovers alike.

We were staying at hotel and stopped by the restaurant for breakfast. I ordered simple boiled eggs and asked if they could make some steamed vegetables, even though it wasn’t on the menu. The waitress was very polite and happily said yes. Everything was prepared quickly and with care. My boyfriend ordered a full breakfast, which was also good — the hashbrowns weren’t cooked all the way through, but they still tasted great. Great service and a pleasant atmosphere — a perfect start to the day. Big thanks to the sweet waitress who served us on the morning of Saturday, May 24 — you made our day start off right!

Not a lot of options in Torrey, but this place has good reviews and we thought we would try it. Walked in and stood by the hostess desk for several minutes before anyone came over. Several people were in the wait station, wiping down glasses, turning in circles, and studiously ignoring us. We weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait for someone to come up to us, so finally we had to wave to get someone's attention. Someone came over and took us to a table. Odd start but we were in. We ordered a quinoa salad and one glass of wine to share. The wine came right away, but we waited 40 minutes for the salad before I finally got up and asked about our dinner. I asked the waitress what was happening with it and for a check to pay for the wine and we would leave. She said to hold on and ran back to check to find our salad. She came out right away with it and I sat back down. Other tables also started asking what the wait was about. The salad was good but not worth $14. And waiting forty minutes for a salad is ridiculous. While we were waiting we could smell smoke and the fire alarm went off. It lasted for a minute and nobody seemed too concerned and no instructions from the staff. Wow. Dinner and a show. We finished our dinner and paid and left. The waitress was nice and falling all over herself apologizing for the wait. It wasn't that busy, maybe 25 people in the entire place, and she shouldn't have to apologize for it. You might want to try a different place, as it seems that when things go bad here, they...

Absolutely horrible, from start to finish. Me and my 2 teenage kiddos went in at 630 for an easy dinner, it wasn’t busy at all and there were several tables available yet we were told it would be 60-90 minutes to wait. Nearly 2 hours later we get a call saying they are ready, still not at all busy we order drinks, chips and salsa; drinks are brought out and we order our food, a salad and a couple burgers. 40 minutes later I have to go ask for our chips and salsa, shortly after they bring a small plastic container with a small amount of salsa and a handful of chips, it’s Pace salsa I’m sure, and cheap bagged chips and I ask for our food to go. They bring our check with our food, a little over $80, I tip generously as I always do and we take our food to our room. My daughters chicken salad was pretty good, my sons burger was minimal but my bacon blue burger was literally a couple buns, a patty and cheese, nothing else. Also our sides were thrown into the same containers as our main dish, my side salad was haphazardly thrown in with my burger with a container of ranch. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m usually extremely tolerant of busy restaurants and overwhelmed staff, but there was no excuse here. They just had absolutely no clue what was going on. I highly suggest avoiding this restaurant at all cost, the subway down the road would have been sooooooo...

Menu looked appealing and the overall rating was decent, so we decided to have dinner here. What a regrettable decision.

TLDR: AVOID THIS RESTAURANT

I got the Chicken Cordon Bleu (which is fine by me that it isn't a traditional recipe) that was served with potatoes, and steamed carrots, zucchini, and summer squash. The chicken was terribly overcooked and dry. The only redeeming quality was it being smothered in Alfredo sauce (but isn't mentioned in the description). The potatoes were fried like Jojo's but flavorless and lacking decent texture. The veggies were simultaneously undercooked and dried out.

My husband got the pesto fettuccine. The noodles and sauce were ok, but again the chicken was extremely overcooked and dried out.

My son ordered the kids burger. It was supposed to come with chips or fruit, but didn't get served with either. Moreover, it was literally a patty cut in half, then cooked and stuck in a full sized pretzel bun.

My daughter had no issues with her kids Alfredo fettuccine.

It seemed they precooked everything and then let it sit and dry out. When I mentioned our dissatisfaction with our meals, there was no attempt to make anything right. All in all, super disappointing experience and I would suggest...
