Atmosphere is great in this place, whether you’re just staying at the bar for a couple drinks and appetizers and or sitting at a table for dinner either way is very comfortable . The staff is very attentive and professional! The signature cocktails are all very good, the GOOD NIGHT BOSTON, is a nice take of the espresso martini, highly recommend!!! the oysters were delicious. I always get the filet , and noticed last year that there may have been a change in the cook or the chef in the kitchen but I decided to give another shot. Maybe it was a fluke and have heard that there have been changes and those changes are great because my filet was cooked to perfection, every single bite perfectly seasoned, just right! The crust was glorious. My husband had the 90 day aged special T-bone that he couldn’t stop talking about , the mashed potatoes were spot on , excellent pairing for steak dinner. the pretzel bread and the poppyseed bread melted in your mouth. Everything about that place is just great. I can hang out there for hours you can have a conversation you don’t have to yell the lighting is good so even if you’re tired after working all day and you go in there you’re probably gonna look pretty good in the lighting. The music is sweet too! Love love love Will be back!

1st let me start off saying I had been looking forward to dining here for a while now. Finally made our way there. 1st impression was a nice atmosphere and very friendly staff, however after being seated we could barely carry on a conversation with the loud music blaring. I ordered a Caesar salad to start it was good but nothing special. I then had the petite filet with a half lobster tail, asparagus on the side. While the Lobster was perfectly cooked the steak and asparagus while perfectly prepared as per my medium well order ... was doused in so much salt I couldn't finish my meal. My companion had the same complaint about his steak. If it weren't for the salt I would have easily given this place a five-star just for the food alone but the salt ruined the perfectly prepared steak and it was very disappointing. I stop trying to wash ut down with my water and had the waiter take it away (why ruin my wine too). Our waiter mentioned it was a common complaint and after reading a few reviews on here see he was right. Unbelievable. So FIX it. Terrible to ruin such a wonderful steak with a heavy handed salt shaker. Put the salt away your steak is delishous as is.

Terrific dinner, and great service from our servers. It was a wonderful time out for Valentine’s Day. The sides are definitely shareable, and the food was absolutely delicious. It felt like anytime we took a sip of water, the servers would be at our side refilling our cups, they were so attentive. They bring over pretzel bread, and another type as well. We both got Cesar salads to start, I got a 7 OZ filet mignon, and he got the 16Oz 60 day dry aged New York strip. I also got a jumbo size king crab leg, while my husband got shrimp. With any order of steak you can get one of their house made sauces to dip it in, (they have 6 different kinds)no extra charge. I got the red wine Demi glaze, and the bearnaise as well which tasted great with my steak. I liked the red wine Demi a little more tho👌🏼. For sides we got the French fries that come with an herb aioli and ketchup, as well as the creamed kale which wasn’t bad, if you like kale. To finish off, we got the warm chocolate bomb cake, it was very good but SO rich. It came with vanilla ice cream which helped. I can say we left stuffed but very happy, and satisfied. We will be back🙌🏼😄🍴

A Birthday Ruined by Terrible Service I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for years, but after my recent experience, I can confidently say I will never return. What was supposed to be a special birthday celebration turned into a nightmare, all thanks to a server who clearly had no business working in hospitality From the moment we were seated, the service was lackluster. Our server seemed disinterested and rushed, barely making eye contact as she took our orders. When my meal finally arrived, it was overcooked and unappetizing as well as missing key components of my order which she deliberately forgot to punch into the system. I tried to get her attention to rectify the situation, but she acted as if I was an inconvenience. The assistant server however was very professional, he noticed how upset me and my guest were. The worst part was how she handled my birthday. I had mentioned my celebration when I made the reservation, yet she treated me like i did not belong in the restaurant, and with an attitude. Instead of a simple “Happy Birthday,” she rolled her eyes and hurriedly set me down, making me feel embarrassed rather than celebrated To top it all off, the overall atmosphere was dampened by her lack of professionalism. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated, which is the exact opposite of what a birthday should be. It’s disheartening to see a once-great establishment fall to such poor standards. I will not be returning, and I highly advise others to think twice before dining here. Save yourself the trouble and find a place that values its customers!

EDIT- The restaurant has not made an effort to contact me after i’ve left numerous messages for them to contact me back. the name of this server was rebecca and she ruined my birthday single handedly, she doesn’t deserve to work in the hospitality industry if this is how she’s going to treat her customers. I was definitely racially profiled in this restaurant.

EDIT 1/17/24 - As you can see by the owner’s response they didn’t even have the decency to spell my name right! not to mention they made no effort to contact me. zero respect zero integrity avoid...

We ate here for our anniversary this past weekend and were very disappointed We have celebrated previous anniversaries here over the years and were always pleased

The service has gone downhill as well as the taste of the food Our waiter was king of a dry personality and not super accommodating, kind of awkward and fake Lots of servers standing around We enjoyed the booth that we were in It was very cozy We were mostly disappointed in the food I ordered the 18 ounce jumbo lobster tail ($75.00) and they had to substitute 2 smaller tails because they were out of the large size Both lobster tails were not seasoned at all, no paprika, no salt or pepper, they were tasteless, and they seemed a bit under cooked as well They weren’t brown or broiled/grilled looking at all I even had to get my phone out and use my flashlight to make sure it was cooked enough to safely eat The drawn butter was also tasteless Our mashed potatoes were also tasteless and they never brought butter for them The asparagus was hard and tasteless as well My husband ordered the 1 lb Alaskan king crab legs for his entree ($49.00) They must weigh them frozen before cooking because it was literally 3 crab legs Hardly any meat We brought it to the attention of our waiter The manager came to our table and offered free dessert to make up for the small amount of crab legs Thanks for the effort but it was definitely a weak effort The customer would much rather be served a decent amount of their entree (especially at their inflated prices) instead of being appeased by getting a free dessert Our waiter never offered coffee, we had to ask for the dessert menu The dessert (creme brûlée with a cookie) was lukewarm and the cookie was stale and dry We also had to ask for a to go box for our dessert Our waiter was a dry personality (almost fake) and not very sincerely attentive This is supposed to be a fine dining experience It definitely was not For the price that we paid for our dinner the service and food were not of the same quality We will not be eating at this restaurant ever again Definitely crossing it off of...

Edited review update: we went there the second time and EVERYTHING was cooked mediocre and not worth the $$$$ at all. I chose to come here for my birthday dinner and brought my friends that never been, I talked the place up so much and said how everything was cooked to absolute perfection last time and how it is worth the money, etc etc.. well I don't know who the heck was back there cooking last night and making drinks, but EVERYTHING was terrible. Calamari was squishy, mushy and soaked in sauce, instead of crispy with only a touch of the sauce they put on.. the cherry blossom drinks tasted like mixer... my red snapper was burnt and crispy... the steaks were inconsistent/tough... the lump crab was ice cold.. crab legs were OK. We spent a ton of money here that night and it will probably be the last due to inconsistency. So depressing and disappointing. I know every business has an off day, but that was so unacceptable. If I wanted badly cooked and disappointing food, I'd have gone somewhere cheap.

If someone can make this right, please do so.

Original review:

First time there in about 10 years and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh. And oh sooo flavorful. Only thing I'd change is to add some kind of sauce on the side with the calamari and the chocolate cake dessert is extremely rich and more like eating pure fudge instead of cake.. needs more of the raspberry sauce on top or inside and more ice cream to even out the richness.. or less fudge, more cake in the batter.

The cherry blossom alcoholic beverage is 👌

They accommodated my need for having the scallops not being cooked in butter and no bacon 😁

I absolutely love the dark atmosphere 😍

One thing-- I have autoimmune issues and the candles were a bit much for me so we moved to the bar area and I was much better there! Staff was totally okay with it and we ended up enjoying the booth by the bar much better anyway! Hopefully they make the whole bar area without any candles for sensitive individuals like me😊 (had there not been a more open area with more air flow, we wouldn't have been able to...
