Edible-but is it what I ordered, or just an (Subway)artist rendition. These are the questions that one should never have to ask after ordering food anywhere, and yet here I am still pondering my sandwich order of November 15th 2023. Now I’m a big fan of sandwiches, and will go many places, and what occurred here will likely diminish the 4-5 sandwiches that are sometimes ordered weekly, I’ll elaborate, sauce, a condiment, a treasure, and albeit a sandwich essential. When one orders a sandwich a Subway sandwich there are the default sandwich sauces, recommended for those people out there that either like it that way, or are unfamiliar with the menu. This is a wonderful feature and is included on the menu along with the other “standard” ingredients. Now what is a “standard ingredient, well a standard ingredient would be denoted as an ingredient that comes with that sandwich. So imagine my surprise after going with 2 standard sauces, and one with changes, and after investigation(ie the insertion of said sandwich into mouth) that my sandwiches with the exemption of one, were sauce less. Now one may ask why this is a big deal, so I’ll leave you with this, and let you, the rest of Buffalo decide, if someone prepared a Buffalo chicken sandwich for you, and it came without sauce, is that still a Buffalo...
Read moreWe had a very disappointing dinner. We initially went to use the 3 subs for $17.99 coupon, but was told (as he pointed to a little computer made sign) that to use coupons the value had to be $8.99 or less of the sandwich. Apparently that applied to the tuna sub but not the turkey. I wasn’t happy especially since the subway we were at previously didn’t have an issue with the coupons nor any restrictions. He was also hard to understand when he spoke. There was only one worker on staff and others in line. I noticed while making the sub he was skimpy on the ingredients and being greedy with the portions. I asked if he could put a little more shredded cheese on (about the size of a pinch) and he said he would have to charge extra (he barely put any cheese on to Begin with. I said Nevermind to the extra cheese. The serving sizes the worker (or franchise owner) was giving out was the bare minimum, if that! We didn’t even stay to eat because we were uncomfortable at that point. When we got home we were very disappointed. We barely could taste the toppings. Felt like we were eating all bread. Extremely disappointed. Will not be visiting again and I recommend you...
Read moreWe normally go to the subway on Transit, but today we went there and they were out of lettuce, no biggie. So we went to the next closest one on Sheridan. We had a coupon, Two subs for $13 that expire 11/05/22 and figured we would use it. We also got 1/2 a sub for our daughter. When we were about to checkout, my boyfriend handed the lady the coupon and she said she couldn’t accept it. He asked “why?” And because English wasn’t her first language, we couldn’t understand why and she handed us our coupon back. We LOVE subway and usually never run into issues but this was ridiculous. I was waiting in the car and when I heard this, I told my boyfriend I would have said “okay, thanks but never mind we don’t want them then” but he didn’t because the subs were already made. He’s a lot nicer than me because I still would have walked out but sheesh…. I normally don’t write reviews but I wanted people to be aware of this location to avoid what we...
