A wonderful place to dine at, especially for lunch. You come inside and choose your own seat. Once seated you are greeted by the waitress/waiter. Using a eraseable marker you place your order on menus that are laminated. My wife ordered a salad (huge) with chicken and other options that she picked from the create your own menu.(see pic) She couldn't find the balsamic vinaigrette option and the waitress was nice enough to tell her that they call it basil vinaigrette. The salad was very good and the portions, was enough to share or even take home to finish off. I ordered the ham sandwich with a glass of Riesling. Everything I picked to go on my sandwich was fresh and tasty especially the bread. I like how it came with a side salad or you can choose soup. Definitely worth the visit, and most importantly worth the price we paid for lunch.

The restaurant's ambiance is beautiful. The pizza was the best I've ever had—the dough and olive oil were excellent. For those who don’t like the strong taste of cheese, it might be a bit overwhelming, but I really enjoyed it. The burger was very tender and delicious, though the fries on the side were just average. The staff's attitude wasn’t particularly warm or welcoming. The photos, the restaurant’s history, and its family-friendly atmosphere were very charming. The restroom could have been cleaner. I will definitely return for that amazing pizza, the fresh vegetables, and the olive oil that transports you straight to Italy—plus, watching Buffalo’s beautiful snowfall through the restaurant’s cozy windows made the experience even more special.

After a long day of flying with waits on the tarmac and the car rental line, I was famished when I finally got to my hotel. Upon checking in at the hotel, I asked for recommendations, and I am so glad that I did. A quick and scenic walk to D'Avolio Kitchen got me there just in time, but I never felt rushed by my server. Lanae, like "Renee with an L" was friendly, well-versed with the menu, and provided attentive service. The menu included a variety of yummy options, and in the end, I went with Lanae's recommendation of Beef on Weck, a local favorite that did not disappoint! I am in and out of Williamsville in 24 hours for business, but I enjoyed my dinner and lovely evening. Next time I am in Williamsville, I will return!

First time visiting this place and it certainly won't be my last! The vegan pizza was far better than I was expecting and honestly rivals Blaze Pizza's vegan cheese. I love that they had baked tofu as a topping option as well! If they added some vegan seitan or chorizo they'd really be in business!

What really sold this place for me was the service. Our waitress (I didn't catch her name) was SO sweet and accommodating! I asked for random sides that were essentially components of other dishes but weren't listed as actual sides, and she was more than happy to accommodate! Everything she brought out was delicious and she tended to us several times during our stay to ensure we were happy.

I'm excited to come back and try the balcony dining spot as it looks very relaxing! The only thing I'd change about this place is the parking - which absolutely sucks, but that's just Main St in general. On the bright side, I got in a nice little walk to-and-from my car!

Update: Came here again for my birthday and it was just as wonderful! Still couldn't find anywhere to park but that's just Main street for ya lol. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive and seemed genuinely sweet! I honestly can't wait to come...

We have gone to the location on transit and always had a great experience. This location however is horrible. I understand and expect there restaurants to be busy at 6pm on a Friday. However, I never had these issues at the other location. First, there was no clear place where to “check in” to be seated. I couldn’t even ask a staff member how to get on a waitlist because they refused to acknowledge or look at you. There were so many people in the “back” waiting for I think pick up orders? I don’t know because there’s no signage for anything except for take out orders. There were so many people waiting that we were literally standing over people at their tables eating. If I were there I would be livid at such a horrible dining experience. The layout of this place makes no sense, it’s awkward and unwelcoming and it was complete chaos. Those kids working were busting their butt, the restaurant really needs to recheck how they run this location because the other one is a well oiled machine and this one...

If I could choose more stars I would!!! Our family had the BEST experience at D’Avolio on Main St! From making the reservation, to confirming the reservation, ordering the food, the table being ready ahead of time for us, the food being absolutely delicious, and the service above and beyond, our experience was incredible! Brianna and Sam flawlessly took care of this large group of 16! They were so kind, efficient, and fun with our whole group! I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Thank you D’avolio for making our family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s First Communion so wonderful! 🤍 I would also like to add….they let us bring our own cake (my sister bakes incredible cakes as a hobby for family events). They didn’t charge us to do this, or to cut it, or for plates. Other local establishments should take note. They made us feel like family. We will...
