They are absolutely fantastic. I’ve never had tempura this good and perfectly cooked. I always order a tempura bento box for lunch. First time it was chicken and the second time it was shrimp. The best part is actually the tempura vegetables that come with it. The onion was like a Japanese onion ring and when you dip with the tempura sauce that comes with your order it is seriously delicious. My other favorite is the tempura sweet potato. I thought it was carrot and I was very pleasantly surprised when it was sweet potato. I love tempura sweet potato rolls so to eat it as just a tempura battered sweet potato slice was amazing. The sweet potato was cooked to perfection where it wasn’t undercooked hard but very soft. I also chose the tuna roll to go with it and I can tell the tuna is pretty fresh since it’s not bright red. Super bright red tuna usually means it’s pumped with a lot of carbon monoxide. That’s how fish is sold so it doesn’t look a little brown like it naturally should. Tuna doesn’t stay fresh very long and should be cooked and eaten as soon as you buy it.

It is also kid-friendly! I went with my baby thinking I’ll just go in, pay for stuff, and head to the next errand but he was so fussy. So I asked them if I could use a booth to feed him and they said yes. I started eating my lunch while I fed the baby with the other hand and I struggled to put everything back so I could leave since I only had one hand. The lady came up to me and asked if she could help and I said yes please. So she placed everything back in the bag and re-stapled it and I was so grateful for them going the extra mile. I unfortunately didn’t have cash to leave a nice tip so I hope this raving review will...

Ordered several times through Grubhub. Waited an hour after placing my order to check the status of delivery. No call, 2 emails from Grubhub sent the same time. 1st one order confirmation and that food is being prepared and 2nd Order cancelled by request of Samaria. No explanation. Grubhub rep said the restaurant claimed our home was “outside of their delivery zone.” We have successfully ordered through Grubhub and have had delivery from Samaria at least 5 times!!! If you don’t think one order is as important as the next or even have the decency to call a customer and apologize than you should consider a dine in only restaurant OR update your info with Grubhub. BTW we have spent a lot of money in the past and this was a very large and expensive order in which I was informed I have to wait 3-5 business days to get my money back!!! Yep 👍 that’s right the money for the food I waited an hour for and didn’t get deliveries because you just cancel without a courtesy call. My business was not important enough for your time. If you want to advertise and use Grubhub update your info and respect your customers, ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN YOU CANCEL OUR ORDERS WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR OUR MONEY BACK!!!!! From now on I will make the drive for some great Sushi from another local restaurant and will never recommend you or Gruber. UPDATE GRUBER SO THAT ANOTHER FAMILY DOESNT SIT AND WAIT FOR AN HOUR, BTW 4 other deliveries to our home before this night.

This restaurant could be decent if the servers knew what they were doing. We went on a Thursday night had a party of 12-13 people. We asked in the very beginning to get separate checks (so that should have been the heads up to organize the check). Our server was Angela and she proceeded to ignore people who were trying to order and losing track of those who already ordered. Additionally we waited a long time for drinks. There were 2 servers assigned to our table. Meal was good everything came out timely. Hibachi guy was great! However then it came time to receive our checks...disaster. We had somewhere to be by 7 and we figured since all of our food was ordered by 5:20ish that we would have no problem getting in and out. Wrong. We asked for our checks around 6:40 and we had all of our dirty plates still stacked on front of us and hadn't seen Angela in a while. Finally she comes over and begins to separate the checks. She has things on the wrong check she's got separate checks for appetizers and entrees, it was just a mess. We just decided after it being 10 after 7 that we needed to go up front and just tell her what we had. By the time everyone cashed out and paid it was 7:35 pm. Did I mention we were celebrating a birthday? By far the absolute worst service I've ever gotten and I will not return for that reason, none of us will.
