Subway — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to give a shoutout to this Subway location! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and jovial “welcome to Subway” from both gentleman behind the counter, who I came to know as Jay and Darren! Their service was quick, friendly, efficient, and super courteous — the owner even happened to be there and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right!

And my sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Jay made it exactly how I ordered and it was bursting with flavor and bountiful ingredients…talk about a bellyful! Absolutely awesome value for a full meal of a sub, chips and a drink!

This kid was working on online orders and having me wait while I’m going to be late for work to take my order. Completely unprofessional and an hour wait for Italian bread. That’s not very good prioritizing and as a former subway worker I’m appalled some long haired curly headed kid and a red headed young women they were both very disrespectful and literally put extra Mayo when I say light and I’m looking at her do it and she look baffled that I want to take some Mayo off. Owner is a disrespectful sloppy drunk. Very abusive to her employees in front of customers. The produce is disgraceful to the subway chain. The lettuce has obviously been way past expiration date and the tomatoes soggy and slimy. There's black mold by the sinks. Really will not ever come back to this location.
