This Taco Bell at 4258 Maple Road handles Doordash in this area. And if you're considering ordering Taco Bell through Doordash from this location, please allow me to save you a lot of grief. Don't do it. Really, seriously ... don't.
We placed order #1 at around 2 pm. Half of our items were missing, the drink was incorrect (or so watered down we couldn't recognize it as diet Pepsi? That's remotely possible, I suppose). The items we did receive were apparently wrapped by a toddler with a questionable grasp on basic motor skills. Annoying, right? Oh ... it gets better.
We had Doordash reorder the missing items and send them our way. But then, according to a Doordash representative I spoke with on the phone, Taco Bell on Maple Road cancelled order #2 completely. That's right, you read that correctly. They goofed order #1 and then cancelled order #2. Super annoying.
I called Doordash yet again and had it refunded, ordering it manually this time. Our Dasher claimed it was delivered, and guess what? It never arrived. That's not Taco Bell's fault of course. I'm just setting the stage for how frustrated I had to get in order to write this incredibly long and angry Google review, and to send an email to Taco Bell corporate which I'll be doing shortly.
For order #4, I again called Doordash and had the missing meal refunded, and again manually ordered the missing food. This order did arrive, and guess what? No, really ... guess? That's right! They botched it AGAIN and most of the items were missing or wrong.
That's when I learned my lesson. Fool me once, etcetera. I had that order refunded, and we simply won't order Taco Bell again until we move to a different city this summer. If we're on the go and want Taco Bell, it won't come from this store. They've lost our business permanently. And I'm sure they don't care. But if you're attempting an order at this God foresaken nightmare establishment, well, best of luck to you I suppose. Go to literally any other Taco Bell instead. Don't say I...
Read moreUber Eats driver here. I had an absolutely awful experience at this Taco Bell location this evening, and I have to leave a review. First of all, the wait times for picking up orders is appalling. I picked up twice, and both times I waited 30 minutes. The workers are rude, unprofessional, and intentionally ignore customers and delivery drivers - ESPECIALLY delivery drivers. We’re trying to make money too, and our entire day’s pay depends on whether or not we are able to pickup and deliver orders in a timely manner. The longer you delay us, the more opportunities we miss out on with Uber.
So the first pick up was painfully slow and inconvenient, but the second pickup was unacceptable. An older woman working behind the counter on Uber orders, who I assume was the manager, was terribly rude to me from the very moment I walked in. I walked to the counter and told her that I had two orders to pick up, and she rolled her eyes, said “we’re working on them” and walked away. Thirty minutes rolled by, she handed me the bags and I politely reminded her that both orders came with drinks. She handed me two plastic cups and said “YOU do them.” UNBELIEVABLE. Uber does NOT pay me to do THEIR JOB. Their job is to prepare and package the order, and my job is to deliver it. I wasn’t given a drink carrier or any kind of assistance. This was around 9pm this evening (April 20, 2023). I also saw her mistreat a DoorDash driver who was having an issue with his order.
I just cannot believe the laziness, unfathomable incompetence, and appallingly rude behavior I witnessed this evening. They should not be working with the public when they do not know how to treat the public appropriately.
On top of that, the location is filthy, they’re always out of menu items, and their machines are broken down on a regular basis. I will be reporting this location to the...
Read moreShort and sweet answer for people browsing by: it's not worth it, if you like taco bell you really won't like this specific location. Extended cut: WOW. Been here a couple of times and have had a few different people give their opinions on it too. Not great lol. To any type of management that might see this, please get some new owners or managers to start actually running this place. I've worked in food service for a while now while also being in different types of service, so I can definitely tell the lack of care that's put in here. Both times I've actually gotten my order from here it's been missing at least one item, but on top of that the item is never fresh or made properly. If you've ever had the crunchwrap supreme you'd know there's a hard shell tortilla inside to keep the structure of the wrap, well when I was missing mine out of my order and went back in to grab what I paid for I was handed one off a warmer and sent on my way(no big deal). Come to find out that must've been premade or been sitting there for awhile because the hardshell tortilla was literally falling apart from being soggy, I'm pretty sure that takes awhile to get to that state. Not only that but my wrap itself was folded so poorly that the contents on the inside were falling out from the center, and stale. So not only do I think that 1. The managers do NOT care about quality but that 2. The food itself is old or about to go old. Look taco bell is my favorite chain which is sad that I have a favorite chain to begin with but I had to say something lol. Ive got plenty of other examples for this place being rough but hopefully some type of ownership changes and things turn around. Also unlock the front door! Like WHAT? Its been locked every time I've tried to come in and get the rest...
