From the moment we walked into the establishment, we weren’t acknowledged by staff including the manager, who walked right past us. This should have been the sign to turn and walk away. No friendly welcome. Food order was taken and never checked on. Other table seated significantly after us and received food before us. When I questioned the manager, as he rushes past me and can’t give me/our table the time of day he says its on its way and something happened with zero remorse or care. Followed up afterward by waitress who tells us they lost our ticket and she was so sorry. When questioned why no one could even alert us to a problem with our order, she replied by saying she didn’t realize until the other table had received their food. How unaware of your tables can one be??!! Plates and utensils were never brought out until after food was delivered, very atypical for hooters service. Bathroom a mess as well. Waitress never once asked if there was anything else she could do for us. Manager never checked nor apologized for what happened (most places a manager would come over after food delivered to check in and see if you needed anything). Even with [most] the food being delivered, sandwich was still even later and no comment that it was on its way, it just came late. We had to inquire as to where the food was. Manager states a simple sorry as food brought out and walked away. No indication of compensation for their mistake. The manager’s initial compensation on bill (still without coming over to apologize) was $10 off. I’m sorry, they LOST the ticket - the entire meal should have been compensated. Waitress went back and defended the pitiful “discount” and was in agreement that the manager was unreasonable. Just watching her run around and having to ask for his help instead of seeing that she was struggling to keep up. There are zero words for how horrible this was and managed. It is a shame because the food isn’t terrible. We’ve been to several locations and nothing relates to what type of...
Read moreMy family and I recently had dinner at Hooters, and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun and festive. Our waitress, Jaquie, was very friendly and attentive. She made sure that our drinks were always full and that our food was cooked to perfection. She also took the time to recommend some of the menu items that she thought we would enjoy. We started our meal with the Hooters signature wings, which were perfectly crispy and juicy. We had them two ways - hot and BBQ - and both were delicious. We also had the buffalo chicken dip, which were another hit - YUM!. They were perfectly crispy and the dipping sauce was delicious. For our main course, some of us had chicken sandwiches. The chicken sandwiches were juicy and flavorful. We also had the waffle fries, which were perfectly crispy and seasoned. We didn't have room for dessert, but we will definitely be back to try funnel cakes!! And don't even get us started on how cute the apparel was!

Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. We just completed dinner at your farmingdale location and it was horrible. The service, the food, the manager were unacceptable. First, several beers (6) were not available, the beer that was available should have been served with fruit, waitress said they didn’t have fruit. Food came out cold, Texas toast sandwich came out without Texas toast, after leaving the meal on the table without any explanation, we called the waitress back and her response was “oh we don’t have that bread, we didn’t think you would notice”. That is completely unacceptable. Before even serving the food, we should have been asked if we still wanted that meal. The point of that sandwich is the bread, Texas toast. After all of the instances of no beer, cold food, wrong food, we asked for the manager. The manager excuse was that they are in the middle of changing management. Once again, that is unacceptable. There is no excuse for a total failure of service like we experienced tonight. This is actually the worst experience I’ve ever had in such a popular restaurant. They definitely don’t care about the service and the food. Some attention needs to be given to that location. What’s even more disappointing is that was my first experience with Hooters and we were celebrating our friends 14 year anniversary after a night of axe throwing. We though your establishment was going to be the perfect way to end the night and it was terrible. You...
