Was getting tired of the usual pizzerias that we frequent so I decided to Google “pizzerias near us” and Joe’s Pizza was the first one to pop up. Read a few of the reviews and figured we’d give them a try.
BEST DECISION EVER!!!!
OMG!!! Without a doubt, one of the most delicious pizzas we’ve had in ages! Crust, sauce, cheese….everything was spot on!
Having originally been raised in Astoria and Brooklyn, I’ve certainly had my share of very good pizzas, so, I feel pretty confident when I say this was on par with the rest!
In addition, we also ordered some garlic knots (very tasty!) , a cheese calzone (it was HUGE!!!) and a side order of baked ziti (amazing!!! and, by the size of it, shouldn’t even be considered a “side order”!) …..no complaints whatsoever!
Can’t wait to try more items on the menu! In hindsight, should have taken some photos but we gobbled everything up the minute the order was delivered. Which, by the way, was pretty prompt and even sooner than the time frame we were given.

Read moreLook if you're like me you love Mama's, great specialty pies. But sometimes you just need a quality slice of the simple stuff: cheese pizza (Joes is best around, not debatable), or a white slice (my favorite in area love Ricotta clumps). They also have other sloves like Buffalo Chicken which is what my buddy ordered. He loved the pizza. In fact it was his first time visiting me (lives in Oceanside) and Joe's is first place I took him. Needless to say he Loved Joes. If you haven't been to Joe's yet you are truly missing out on quality, quality pizza. Staff is super friendly too. We went in late while they were closing up and yet they still served us (Praise the Lord bc we were starving haha). Anyway, long story short, you must try Joe's pizza if you haven't already. Offers completely different experience than Mama's, and is also far...
Read moreI thought for while there it was a slightly above average place to eat .But the last 3 or 4 times recently I've experienced Over toasted hero bread resulting in the hero actually falling to crumbs . And 3 times in row my order was totally incorrect ,I odered a eggplant and sausage Hero with No sauce and recieved a tin with undercooked sausage eggplant loaded with sauce and cheese . Nothing even close to what I ordered . I recently ordered a white pizza and when I got home I got a regular pie , another time I ordered a Sausage and Pepper Hero and got an over toasted hero with Meatballs. I decided that Joe's is definitely a place I'm going to avoid from now on .whoever runs the lunch shift is a horror story ....
