Kai's Asian Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

So, I only leave a review if I really love a place or hate a place. So read on to find out if you will be wasting your time and stomach acid. I went here due to positive reviews. I can only wonder if it was a off night or the reviews are tainted. I ordered General Taos combo plate. When I got my meal I thought it was a lean cousin. The general Tao chicken looked like honey balls from Christmas. They were so small and way over done that the plastic fork wouldn't even pierce most of them. I actually think there was zero chicken inside or they over cooked them so much the chicken vanished. The rice was some sort of white rice with soy on it. The egg roll also had very little cabbage but mostly fried dough. But the girl was very nice who took my money for the dish at least she was pleasant. After being burned the last 2 local take out places near me, I finally decided to give another place a go.

Pleasantly surprised! The store front doesn't do it justice, and it's in a teeny strip of stores across from the outlets, but very tasty and very fresh. The only knock was the wait, way longer than we expected.

Dumplings were light and flavorful, the Mongolian beef was excellent, I've never had sesame shrimp before, SO GOOD, tofu dish was great, and the rice was perfectly cooked. They even make their own soup noodles, the nice fat fresh ones, not the skinny crunchy ones.

Definitely my new go too when I can't get Golden Garden in...

Hi guys o deliver a load water in the area and was passing by and need to do a 30 mins break there was a shoulder on that block across from the store so I stopped on there I had the pork lomein it was different they had made it with some type of red sauce I never seen that on pork lomein before but it was bad it tasted ok I haven't been able to try anything else so I can only give them 2 stars for food and an extra star for being in a convenient spot for the 53' to part with out a problem when u are really hungry thst parking is very...
