Sweet Sensations — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

Last night I came to sweet sensations of Babylon village for the FIRST time ! And I will NEVER be Back... HORRIBLE Experience to say the least. My boyfriend & I came in the store and had two simple orders well at least I think it is simple.... one was chocolate and banana soft serve on a cone with coconut shavings, the girl does vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup... so I say to her don’t you have chocolate ice cream ? That is what we asked for she goes and starts laughing so I ask and what is that she tells me vanilla with chocolate syrup “I really didn’t know what I was doing” how do you tell a customer that and I work in food service so I know how things should be handled, so I say can you please do chocolate ice cream she tells me yes... gets the cone starts the machine and the chocolate ice cream was all over the cone it was liquid when she first started the machine so not all of the ice cream was as it should be and she knew that she was carrying the cone all around the store with her hand under it so it wouldn’t drip on the floor so she puts the cone in a cone and proceeds to put the coconut on it so I say to her “your kidding me right ? Your not giving that to me are you?” I said it’s a mess she tells me it’s ice cream ? Are you really going to go back and forth with a customer ? “A paying customer” at that. So I ask for a new one she starts doing it already had it messed up I look over and it’s chocolate and vanilla and another worker says to me the coconut won’t stay on .. so I say that’s okay if it doesn’t all stay on I just don’t want melted ice cream. suddenly this ogre of a woman comes out and excuse me for my cruelty but she was rude the second she came out, I was digested by her appearance as she looked dirty and had mustache on her face, mind you that is NO WAY to look when you are in food service yet managing a business! she asks me what’s the problem I start to tell her what happen and she cuts me off and goes u have them make u something 3 times ? First time was the girls fault and even if it wasn’t YES I ASKED 3 times I’m a paying customer and shall get what I ask for ! I wasn’t arguing with lady man so I walked out. Anyway I much rather fresh flavored soft severe opposed to using liquid flavoring. All there soft served flavored are flavored by flavored extract... A REAL ICE CREAM shop making hard and soft serve all fresh and homemade with real fruits real chocolate etc. save yourself the trip AND KEEP DRIVING and go to KILWINS Babylon village or Cold stone you WONT be...

I’ve visited this place before and always got good service. Although tonight I went about an hour before they were to close, and the girl behind the counter was very rude with a pisseed look on her face. I nicely asked for a small cup size and she gave me the cup with barely a full scoop inside. Usually when I come here they give you a decent portion that you can thoroughly enjoy. But this was too ridiculously, it was barely enough to cover the bottom of the cup AND I was charged $5.75 for it. They definitely lost a customer after that one.
