I don't take time to write reviews often, so I have to be motivated. Received a menu in the mail with a coupon to try their revamped pizza. On the menu cover there was unusual commentary about improvements and feedback the owners have taken which I thought to be unusually modest. Nonetheless it got our attention. I don't have the comparison of what their pizza was like before the improvements, however I can say it was an excellent slice of pizza. We got the regular large pie, it measured 18.5 inches, if size is important to you, the crust though was crunchy and airy and had a high gluten chew to it. Parisi's is using semolina bread crumbs or similar on the bottom of their pie's instead of flour which is a reason I drive an hour each way to Huntington for my Little Vincents pizzas. Now I can just go five minutes to get my fix! (Sorry LV). The sauce on the pizza was balanced, although we do prefer a little more oregano (we just added it). One of the most important things for a slice of pizza is that when you fold it, that it does not flop. Parisi's pizza was firm and folded well. What's more is that their pizza even stood up to a toaster oven re-heat, which usually you have to toast the pizza in a frying pan to prevent the sogginess. Lastly Kasper, our bird, loves the pizza too! It takes a bit of humility to publicly admit your growth opportunities both as a person and as a business. Cheers Parisi's for being brave and for taking your customers feedback seriously. Looking forward to the next slice and sharing in your...
Read moreHelluva pizza spot. Large selection on the menu that offer a lot more than your typical pizza place standards. Reasons that this is a five star restaurant and why you should give it a try: Pizza slices are great from the regulars to the specialty. They use cornmeal on the bottom of the crust that adds more texture to an already tasty slice. You can choose sesame seeds under the crust for pies as well. Every entree and appetizer we have tried was a score! Try the Thai shrimp & calamari dish! They have the Italian checkered tablecloths and Italian movie posters up. Giving you the Sopranos Satriale's Pork Store atmosphere. You know it's good when you walk in at midnght and a couple of different tables you'll see guys enjoying an italian entree or two. They stay open the latest over all other pizza joints. They are open until 12am on regular days and 3am on weekend! Usually when a pizza parlor has all these good marks they will have a grumpy rude staff that is overworked and low on the morale. Not at Parisi's. Even the staff is cool and always looking to provide...
Read moreI was just driving by and dropped in for a slice. The pepperoni slice was perfect. Just the right crunch and the perfect amount of ingredients. Hot but not mouth roof burning. I will return. 11/16/24 2nd post. I've returned 2x since my first visit, and the fresh made pizza is even better than the slice. As far as the other reviews that claim the pizza is expensive, I checked, and the cheese slice is $3.50, not $5. As far as the coment about vacation pizza, there is no such thing as vacation pizza, It is called destination pizza. Anyway, it's not my thing, but I tried the backed ziti with vodka sauce, and it was fine. These reviews should be removed as they are factually incorrect. Parisi's owner. Now that you have expanded your menue I suggest you add a few more...
