My best friend bought me a giftcard from this location and it was a nightmare trying to rectify an error that clearly happened on the stores end. I had to drive all the way to the store which was more than 15 miles away and called customer service numerous times to NO resolution. The manager ended up calling me back after speaking to her district manager only to tell me once again to call customer service and there was nothing they could do to which my response to her was what customer service told me which was that the card was not activated on the stores end, the manager responded that the card was activated and hung up on me, the end of this story is that there was no resolution and my friend ended up wasting money as she paid for a giftcard and I was not able to use it, this is beyond terrible customer service on all ends- the store, the customer service at 1-800-Starbuc and it was...
Read moreI've been going to this Starbucks for years. I've seen its ups and downs and I've seen it go through many managers. The manager there now, Jessica, is absolutely wonderful. She always has a really great attitude, she is clearly a hard worker and still a ray of sunshine, and I've seen her stand up for her baristas as well! I talk to the baristas they seem very happy with her too. I also know my drink will be great if she makes it! (Not that the baristas here won't make a good drink, but some of the other Starbucks I've been to aren't even half as consistently correct as the Michael ave location!) Also, the renovation is gorgeous, the poor store really needed it. I'm so happy they're open again. I look forward to seeing Jessica and these baristas every day! My bf never got his card back after a drive through purchase and with out thinking I drove off. When realizing my mistake we called to see if I could come get his card back . They Nastily said no and my bf got on the phone and he yelled a bit maybe dropped one fbomb. They said they would keep his card for 24 hours. We said we would come around 4:00. We got there and the manager said he destroyed my bfs credit card and called his bank and had it canceled and wouldn't show us the card at all, all bc my bf cursed once at the guy.
