We are locals and went because we were in the area enjoying the lake. I’m not usually one to write these reviews but the service was pretty horrible. It took about 20 mins for someone to come and greet us and take our drink orders. The guy was nice and took our order. He was really patient with us considering we kinda had him run back and forth since one of the people I went out with had a few allergies and he kept going back and forth to the kitchen to ask our questions. Once our food order was in it took almost an hour to get to the table. As we were waiting I asked the servers we have been waiting a while. He looked at us and said that they had a 20 person party and they pushed out our order to accommodate the 20 person party. Unacceptable considering we had been there for an hour already waiting. When we got our food it was thrown on the table quick and the woman walked away. When one of us asked for extra of honey mustard she seem annoyed and walked away. Our food ended up being cold and it seemed like it had been sitting for a while. Definitely would not go back, the only positive thing was a separate server took 20% off the bill and was nice and accommodating. There is also no gluten free options on the menu and considering LG relies on tourist in the summer it’s odd that they don’t have options for people...
Read moreGiving them 3 stars, but 3 strong stars. I had been looking forward to visiting this brewery for a while. Finally got the opportunity. Unfortunately it was in the middle of this whole Covid mess. So it is with this in mind, that I give the 3. I was terribly disappointed to sit down and only see 4 beers on tap. A stout,a light lager and 2 IPAs. The food menu was rather light as well. All that said, I tried the flight with all four beers and we ordered two appetizers. Everything was outstanding. I'm not big into the whole IPA craze, but both were very good, as was the lager and the stout. (I wouldn't typically order a stout on labor day weekend). Pretzels and fried pickles were on point as well. Hoping to visit again when things are back to "normal". Editing to add; The next day, I dined at a local restaurant, and to my surprise, they had Bolton Landing Octoberfest available in cans. Why it wasn't available at the brewery, I've no idea. To disappoint further, I enjoyed the beer so much, I decided to return to the brewery a few days later to grab a case of cans, only to find out they wouldn't be available for another 3 weeks. As I live outside of their distribution area, it's unlikely I'll be able to sample anymore of their beers until my next trip to...
Read moreMy family and I have visited this brewery since they opened every time we are in the area on vacation. We recently visited on 8/26. The only negative was our server. She was extremely rude and dismissive. When she first approached our table we weren't ready to order and she made it clear through her attitude that she wasn't happy about that. We weren't sure why, as we had just sat down and it wasn't crowded at all. Later, when my husband was ordering a beer flight, she emphatically grumbled NO when he mistakenly asked for a beer that wasn't available in a flight. There is no excuse for this type of service. On the positive side, my husband really likes their beer. My mom and I got sangria since we aren't beer drinkers and very much enjoyed it! We ordered the pretzels and the truffle fries. The pretzels were very good. The fries were okay. They definitely didn't taste like truffle fries. The outdoor seating is nice, especially the covered area for when it is raining. All in all, it's a nice place to visit if you have...
