So I ordered the chicken French. The entree came with a salad bar and one side. I ordered a baked potato and when the chicken French came it looked really bad. It looked like a piece of chicken with a can of cream of chicken soup all gloppy poured on the top.The waitress didn't even put it down because she knew it looked bad. she took it back to the kitchen and then someone else brought it back out looking exactly the same. I said no thank you. I started eating the baked potato and I had already had a salad from the salad bar. They asked me if I wanted something else and I said I think I'll just stick with the salad and the potato. She brought the check and told me that she took the potato off the bill. I thought oh how nice of you to take a $0.50 potato off of my bill. When I looked at the check I realized that she had charged me for an all-you-can-eat salad bar instead of a side salad, which is what I had. I had one trip to the salad bar. There was no mention of "Oh go up as many times as you like" or even asked me if I wanted a one trip to the salad bar or an all-you-can-eat salad bar. I was so offended! When I went up to the register I told the girl that I should have been charged a one trip to the salad bar but I was charged for the all-you-can-eat and she did take it off the bill. But I felt like the waitress was just trying to get a bigger tip and I didn't...
Read moreSat quickly would probably be the best part of my first experience here. Waittress seemed completely agitated like she didn't want to be there. I ordered the Roc beef sandwich; it was super messy (which is fine) but the 2nd half of my sandwich had some super tough fat in it. So when I bit into it, and it pulled apart finally acter needing a knife, it flung juice on my suit. I fully understand casualties of eating in a nice outfit, but that was not the only piece that had fat; it seemed like I was fighting with the entire 2nd half of my sandwich! Not pleasant. My friend ordered a burger and was still hungry after. He's about 200lbs though so I take that with a grain of salt. To top it off, the waittress doesn't take payment for you, so we were stuck in the entrance way of restaurant which does not fit many people in it, and we felt like we were in the way of people trying to get in. Just not the best experience is all and I would definitely go elsewhere next time someone mentions...
Read moreThe food was delicious and my server was a sweetheart. HOWEVER and this is a BIG HOWEVER. I will NOT be coming back. The “hostess” which I later found out is a part owner is an about and rude and condescending as they come. As I am waiting for a table he has his hands all over one of the servers.
As I am eating I watch him walk around like he thinks he’s some god. What a joke.
As I am about done eating he proceeds to make rude gestures to one of the servers to get a table of old ladies (late 70s and 80s) out of there as he has people waiting to be seated. This was in no way discreet. He was very rude. The server who seemingly had no choice but to politely ask the ladies to leave I over hear one day “I’m sorry we haven’t seen each other in ages”. He should be ashamed of himself.
I will gladly support local restaurants, one that respect its patrons, and this one will not be...
