C.P. La Mannos Have A Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I am so happy with my choice to hold my daughter's baby shower at C.P. LaManos! When my family first moved to L.I In 1970, "Have a Pizza" was a staple family restaurant of ours. Many happy memories. I wanted to share with the next generation. Michelle LaMano couldn't have been more helpful to my sister & I, a nervous 1st time Grandmother. Michelle was so understanding & helpful. I'm so pleased with all the adjustments she made throughout the entire planning & preparation for my daughter's special day. She even posted a sweet sentiment on their street sign. Thank you Michelle & Staff for making this day a lovely success. We had the shower in their front room. Lots of natural light in that room. We had 30 ppl. The food was very good, everyone had a good comment to share about their meals. The cake was a hit for all of us. We added colored linen table clothes & napkins to the package. We also went in early to hang baby clothes & flower to tables & window sils. The room was comfortable for everyone to move around,eat & socialize. We used the bar for gifts which was both spacious enough for gifts & added to the baby shower decor. Our server was professional & friendly. The Party Package was affordable for my budget. We had plenty of time from start to finish & never felt rushed. Also as important we all had fun,fun fun & it felt homey! Not like a sterile catering hall, with robotic staff...

Ordered 3 take out entrees off the menu on their website which very clearly states they come with salad and a side of bread. When we arrived to pick up our order we were informed that although their takeout menu on THEIR website clearly states salad and bread are included, this is not the case and that is for dine in only. Also the prices listed in their website are also incorrect. Upsetting to say the least, and the employees stated they couldn’t correct this or do anything about it, because the owners weren’t there. After arriving home, the takeout trays are basically half filled, my son ordered raviolis, for example, he got 6 of them. Two of our main courses consisted of chicken that wasn’t cooked all the way. The side order of meatballs we ordered, were pink in the center and uncooked. We order pizza from this place regularly, but we will never waste another dime in an establishment that thinks this is an acceptable way to serve customers. There are probably 5 other Italian places within a mile radius, I strongly recommend choosing...

Attended a gender reveal after party here and was extremely disappointed. Service was extremely slow right from the start to even get water on the table. Not sure if I can blame the waitress, as seemed she was the only waitress in the place handling this small party and the regular dining area. Guests were given a choice of 3 items, ziti, chicken parm to grilled chicken and broccoli. I had the grilled chicken, super thin cutlets dry as leather. My husband had the ziti which he didn't like so the only dish that looked good was the chicken parm. Prior to bringing out the meals they served the smallest portion of salad that I think I have ever seen drenched with too much vinegar. Took over two hours for the food to come out and the place was basically empty. First and last time for me...
