Tuscany Gourmet Market — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Placed an order for my grandsons baptism totaling more than $700. The order included hot food trays and 6 foot heros. My son in law was nice enough to help out and pick up the food for the party because this establishment could not deliver as is customary due to already being " booked up". At that point my daughter should have known not to place the order, but she did because she was recommended to this market. Now the worst part! When my son in law was loading up the van he noticed the 6 foot heros did not look 6 feet long, he brought it to the attention of the employee who was bringing the food out to the van. The man said they were "6 feet long", my son in law stated that they looked shorter. At this point the employee told my son in law to" go get a tape measure and measure them". No one could believe it. My son in law decided to get the food to the party because it was getting late. When he got back we measured them and found them to be 3 1/2 feet long!!! That is quite a bit different!!! We took a picture of both and he went back. Now to be quite honest my son in law was steamed. When he got there he was not so polite. The manager was apologetic and seamed to be upset at what his employee had said. He was shown the pictures. He gave us a 4 ft hero and a 3 foot hero to make up for the shortage. This was the proper thing to do from a business stand point but he did not offer to take any money off the bill for the inconvenience of being treated poorly and the inconvenience of having to go back to not only prove the shortage but to have to go back and pick up the other heros. Thank God he was able to give us a replacement. This is everyone's nightmare who is throwing a party, the food order not being correct. At this point guests had already started to arrive. The food was good, I am honest and I can't say anything bad about that but I believe it would have been good customer relations to have offered a small discount or even thrown in a small token of appreciation for the inconvenience of having to go back and forth twice. I hope this will be a lesson to others. DONT FORGET, BRING A TAPE MEASURE WHEN PICKING...

Tommy and his crew did what my new wife and I thought could never be done. After the catering venue told us that they could not hold our wedding as contracted and with only 9 days left Tuscany put it all together and it all went better than if it were at the venue. The food was absolutely amazing. The servers and bartender were the best, totally professional, on top of everything and basically down-right friendly to each and every of our guests. They came in and took over making our day even more special than we ever imagined. Our guests are still raving about how great the affair was, the brunch, the cocktail hour , the dinner and desert could not have been better. Trust us when we say that Tuscany Gourmet Market goes above and beyond. They made a great success out of what we thought would have been a disaster. We will most definitely spread the word, recommending them for any size party and doing so in a pinch of time. We can't thank you and your staff enough for saving our special day and making it such a great time..........no muss, no fuss, just the best! Marty & Marie...

Yesterday was my daughters 5th birthday and I ordered hot and cold heros, salads and 1/2 tray of mac and cheese. This was our third event that we used Tuscany Marketplace and I honestly can’t believe that it gets better every time. If I could give ten stars I would. The staff are attentive and friendly, food was delivered to my home 10 min early then expected and sterno was included along with serving utensils for salads and olives and cucumber salad which was not expected but greatly appreciated. I ordered the most of the chicken Texan since that was super popular amongst guests from previous parties. I also ordered the teriyaki London broil for the first time and it was unbelievably delicious! Now I know know for next time to order the most of this one for sure! Everyone was ranting and raving about how good the food tasted. I recommend Tuscany Marketplace to anyone and everyone that is hosting a party. Hands down best catered food on the island. Thank...
