China East — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I didn’t eat in the restaurant bc I’m handicap.I ordered my meal. I spent $40 on the worst food in a long long time. The shrimp was beginning to go bad! You know how you can tell, it gets mushy! It wasn’t over cooked bc shrimp gets tough when it’s overcooked. There was 1 shrimp in the shrimp egg foo young! The ribs where disgusting for $10.00 I got 4 small ribs that looked like someone had run over them with a truck & 1 piece made me sick to look at bc the bone was exposed & looked rancid 🤢 Even the shrimp fried rice wasn’t fresh . I used to Order from them a lot a while back and I stopped because of this. I will not order them again. I gave him second chance after all these years. Too much money for me to waste living on disability. So much for giving...

Was introduced to this take out a few weeks ago, now visited a least 3 times since. The food is one of the best around for Chinese take out. Their pork Chow Mein as well as the chicken Lo Mein reminds of the good Chinese food I grew up loving. My only problem with Chinese take out today as compared to ones I grew up eating is they don't make a lot of the food themselves anymore! Most of it, along with the sauces are manufactured else where! I remember the days of the old Chinese woman sitting at the back of the Kitchen rolling the egg rolls and filling the wontons themselves, NO MORE, no two Chinese places were the same back them, now all taste the same with the exception of some dishes...

Chinese food is hit or miss for me, at China East it was definitely a hit lol the sesame chicken was on point and even thought this pandemic their quality of food has not gone down one bit, I wish I could see their friendly staff but before the world was basically shut down I loved their customer service, it was always an easy experience and they are so liberal when it comes to giving out free items it always great opening the bag to find an order of wantons or dumplings! I would recommend this place, not only for its good food but it's good service as well. Good service is half a restaurant! This...
