MELTology Grilled Cheese — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

first time i ordered meltology on uber eats the food was downright nauseating. complete waste of money, but there was nothing i could do so i just made sure to remember the name and not order from them again. couple months later im craving grilled cheese so i order it from a different place called Grilled Cheese Society. it gets here and my drink is in a meltology cup!!!! and, you guessed it, the food was the same terrible slop id gotten at meltology. googled it, turns out they’ve got the same address. then it happened a third time the other day!!! on uber eats the places that all have the same address as meltology (and same disgusting food) are: the big melt, grilled cheese society, crave burger, outlaw burger, and a few wings places. im not sure if the wing places are associated with meltology so i won’t name them, but the other places are (allegedly) meltology. the food is a joke. frankly, i didn’t know you could mess up grilled cheese that badly but they somehow did it. this place is beyond sketchy. whoever the owner is needs to pick a different career path because food obviously is not their thing. imagine being so far in denial about how horrendous your food is that instead of trying to improve your recipe and business you ignore all the bad reviews and just pick a new name to go by....

Very cute and cozy place. Staff was friendly. Food was very good. Now you say, its grilled cheese...whats special about grilled cheese? Its damn good grilled cheese. I got the grilled cheese burger and fries. Best grilled cheese I've ever had and throw a beef patty cooked to perfection in between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches....mmm. I'll definitely be going back.

EDIT 4/24. Have been back several times at this point and have even ordered delivery through Uber eats. This time they forgot an item on a 5 item order. Mistakes happen but the answer I received was unnaceptable. I was told to either get a refund through uber eats or drive there and they will make me what was missing. For me to now have to drive 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back defeats the purpose of ordering delivery in the first place. I paid a delivery fee, service fee, and tip and still would have to drive there. So pretty much my options were my son doesn't eat his dinner or my dinner is cold by the time I get back. If im driving to pick up dinner after delivery and now it's gonna be cold I should be...

So apparently when you order a grill cheese with bacon AKA “Grown Man Grilled Cheese” you only get two strips of bacon LOL 🥲👍🏽 First time ordering from this establishment (and most definitely last) Not too sure what ‘grown man’ would b satisfied with two pieces of bacon.

I asked for extra bacon - not knowing I would only receive two slivers, so they gave me one more. ??? Seriously?

After getting home I called to ask if I was charged for the ‘extra bacon’ & I was told no. ‘The one extra strip of bacon wasn’t charged’

The up charge for the tomato soup was a regret. Basically, I paid $25 for cheese, Campbells Tomato soup and tator tots.

In addition to the lack of quality, their address isn’t recognizable to most GPS apps lol. I had to call 3 different times to find them.

I have never felt the reason to leave a review for a “restaurant” up...
