What an amazing meal. After coming home from work my daughter informed me that tonight we will be eating sushi burritos.... I'm down
We headed over to Stony Brook to a place called iron poke. It's right next to iron ramen and the people behind the counter couldn't have been nicer. The place was very clean and the selections all looked fresh.
You place your orders by putting things on a sheet of paper and checking boxes. So the three of us got different burritos.
Kenny got a chicken burrito because he really doesn't eat fish. He enjoyed it and it was still wrapped in seaweed so he was happy.
Gabby got tuna and they put a lot of tuna into hers. You can add different toppings and sauces so she made her own our selections are below
I had a spicy tuna slash tuna burrito and it was all really really great.
As soon as we got up from the table and walked out they cleaned our table which made us feel very comfortable with all these colds...
Read moreI ordered a Poké bowl with spicy tuna and spicy salmon and spicy crab. When I received my bowl, I noticed that there was no tuna or salmon in the bowl. When I called up to complain that they forgot items out of my bowl they told me that when you order spicy tuna or spicy salmon, it’s not actual pieces of fish. It’s more of a puréed, tuna and salmon. Nowhere on the menu did it say this. Very disappointed I would never come back here again. You would think they would tell me not to eat the one that I have and send someone to deliver the proper bowl with actual pieces of fish on it and take this one for me but they never did. I do not recommend this place. Very bad service. I attach the picture after I mixed it up in a larger bowl thinking maybe the tuna was on the bottom. But the orange stuff that you see is supposed to be the tuner...

Great place for vegans. The prices are very reasonable; you can't beat the amount of food you get for the money. The "sushi burritos" are good too, but much smaller than the bowls, relatively, but still satisfying, for those with light or moderate appetites. One time they messed up our order slightly, but they promised to make good on it, and they did. The only negatives are that they don't have organic ingredients, and the plastic bowls are not recyclable in...
