Luigi's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

This was the only open place i I'm being ask 3 more times if I had already ordered I sat and waitedn a strip mall I stopped at on the way to work. Upon going inside I was encouraged by the clean interior the electronic menus and the enthusiastic staff. That was where Be positive experience ended. After ordering my Buffalo chicken wrap I was asked to more times by various people if I had ordered and I said yes. Then I waited and waited and waited. Others had come in after me ordering whole pizza pies, full on pasta meals and other things. They received their orders within 10 minutes. While I sat there and waited. The photo you see is the sandwich I got. Naomi didn't fall apart upon opening which is not what a rap is supposed to do but it didn't taste very good they gave me inside of what they call blue cheese and was more like mayonnaise. When I ask for a receipt there told me what stapled to the bag upon leaving the establishment I had a vitamin water as well in order that wasn't on the receipt I then turned around went back into the pizzeria to tell them that I didn't pay for the vitamin water and the girl said yeah you did it just not on the receipt. How I wanna get a receipt I expect to receive to show everything I bought especially since I paid by credit card so if I have to look at that later on I want to know what it says. It's a shame because the place looked like it had potential but based on my experience I will not...

Visited here last Sunday 8/29 for the first time in several years and I highly regret the decision. Ordered large neapolitan pizza with sausage and mushrooms, calzone with meat fixings and some garlic knots. Each item was demonstrably disappointing if not outright inedible. I say without hyperbole, I would've had a better experience getting frozen pizza or dominos. If nothing else I'd have paid a fraction of the price. The bread on all 3 items was pitifully bland, the meats on both items were tasteless and the mushrooms were both chewy and unappetizing, as if from a can. Ditto for the cheese, an impressive feat considering and the sauce was well beyond not winning prizes. Nothing can be said for presentation either, as the mushrooms and sausage were piled haphazardly across the pizza, an unpleasant mix of barren sections and piles in others. If nothing else come on down for a uniquely awful selection of products. Even now I'm floored by how just abysmal the quality of each and every aspect of my order. Years ago I might have recommended Luigi's. I also obtained several second opinions from friends and family for the pizza, nobody enjoyed this. Luigi's setauket $50 for two "large" pies one special topping. ($5tip included)- Okay so the pizza here is good with big slices when you walk in and order a slice. They have "large" pies in the case and serve those slices....however when you order a "large pie" for delivery the pies are the size of a dominoes pie. The box is 16" and the pie is a bit smaller than the box. Two large pies ( from any other place we've ordered from) would normally feed our family when everyone is here (8 adults and two kids) but their pies are tiny in comparison. Buyer beware. We've been to Luigi's a decent amount over the years but feel deceived and unhappy with the customer service. The one guy did say he's been pushing for a change but couldn't do anything for us.
