Ordered a hot green tea that was served to me in a split, cracked mug. It managed to leak all over my lap and the table before I noticed where it was coming from.
Disappointed to see Escolar ("white tuna") on the menu. It has been banned for consumption in Japan since 1977, as the Japanese government considers it toxic.
Had a Tuna Avocado salad, the tuna was mushy and unremarkable. They forgot the sesame seeds on top. The dressing that accompanies was oily and flavorless.
The Fried oysters (6) were a bit bland but otherwise fried nicely.
Edamame was basic, a bit overcooked and numerous pods were disintegrating.
Had 2 spider handrolls that had wayyyy too much rice, the softshell crab was stuck on top like an afterthought and it fell out before the first bite. They charged for 2 full spider rolls @ $14 each, so $14 per half of a soft shell crab. Awful!
Tried an assortment of sushi: Salmon, tuna belly, yellowtail, salmon roe, scallop, fluke, king crab. The sushi cuts are tiny and the rice underneath even smaller. They forgot to put scallop and yellowtail on the plate they sent out. They did remember to put them on the bill.
Otoro was decent, somewhat stringy. B. Salmon cut was small, wet and soggy. C. Yellowtail = never served. Fluke, B+. King crab was overcooked & dry. C-. Ikura lacked any salting whatsoever, D. Scallop = hilariously small rice ball under. It's like they ran...

We will return here regularly.
My wife gushed praises on her Hibachi combo Filet Mignon and Scallop plate with perfectly cooked vegetables. Since the serving was so large, I helped her finish it and I agree it was great: the meat was tender and had no grizzle or fat, as the steaks have in most restaurants in the area. The scallops were large, succulent and numerous: 10 or 12 of them on her crowded plate!
The Sashimi Salad for $9 could seem pricey for the serving size, but this fantastic salad was brimming with flavor! Sashimi and Fresh Ripe Mango and Avocado slices under a fresh array of Fresh Organic Spring Mix (Spinach and Radicchio) topped with a delicious light brown thin sauce.
The Sashimi Deluxe dinner had 16 pieces of raw fish, arrayed in small groups of 3 or 4 pieces each. The dollop of Wasabi was the right size, about the size of a large grape; same sized pile of fresh thinly sliced ginger.
Their raw fish was not uniformly excellent though. The tuna was slightly past its peak, so I had to mask its fishiness with low sodium Soy Sauce - something I try to avoid with Sashimi, at every possible opportunity. I was disappointed. I will try this plate again and if I detect fishiness on that occasion, it will be my last raw...
