Heritage Chemists Pharmacy — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

I contacted pharmacy about 3 weeks ago for a Covid Vaccination. Was told, by Mary Jo, it would be about 1-2 weeks. I called earlier this week and was told, by a gentleman, that I was next on list and that they were waiting for the shipment. It would be about 2 days. I called after the 3rd day to inquire and was told by Mary Jo it was going to be about another 2-3 weeks???? When told her what I was informed earlier in the week, by the pharmacist, she didn't know why I was told that. She couldn't think of an excuse fast enough especially when I told her I had to spell my name, to the pharmacist, so clearly he was looking and reading something with my name on it. So are we taking people's names, putting on list and playing with the list. Is this a advertising ploy for your pharmacy to get cheap notoriety. DO YOU REALIZE THE TIMES THAT WE ARE IN?? Having put my faith and trust in YOUR PHARMACY, I clearly stopped attempting to reach out to any other organization that offered the vaccination. You manipulated the system. Would I trust them with a prescription, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Would I trust them with my life, ABSOLUTELY NOT. They should be sanctioned. Stay with your boutique, your not professional enough to run...

If I could give the more stars I would! I had an issue with the pharmacy that I had been using for years, and a friend told me that I should try Heritage. I called my doctors office and asked them to have my prescription sent to them instead of my old pharmacy. I called to ask if they received it. They informed me that it had not come in yet. Being the caring people that they are, before I could even ask, the woman I was speaking to, asked me for the name and phone number of my Doctors office. She contacted them to ask them when they would be sending the script. She gave me constant updates on the progress of the script. When it came in, the owner texted me to let me know that it was in. When I went in to get my prescription, they were so warm and welcoming. The owner asked me if I got my Vaccine yet. I told them that was trying to get an appointment. They said if I was interested, they can do it for me today. So needless to say I am getting My first vaccine today from the pharmacy that I can tell you will be my pharmacy for many years to come. If you haven't used this pharmacy in the past, I highly recommend them. BTW they have a great selection of gifts...

Ten Stars For Heritage Chemists Pharmacy & Boutique .This Establishment which is family owned gives you the feeling of small town charm. Upon entering you are always greeted with a warm welcome by all Employees and asked how they may be of help. When I found out they were offering vaccines I was told it was going to take a few weeks before they would receive shipments however I was assured they would definitely be getting it. The wait time was about 4 weeks and I was very excited to receive a call from owner MaryJo to schedule appointment. MaryJo and her Husband Frank also known as the pharmacist of Heritage Chemist are doing a “super job“ and are “very knowledgeable”. In addition the Pharmacy has many items you might not find elsewhere and the Boutique has new trends in clothing and jewelry for both men and women .
