The three good reviews are three good friends.
I believe it’s good to provide honest feedback so new businesses can reflect on their service and quality.
Upon walking in, we were told to sit anywhere and given a menu. We were not informed to order at the counter but we brushed it off as a new business just getting started. After we ordered, we waited for our food and we were expected to pick it up at the counter. It would’ve been okay if they just told us the process or had it posted somewhere.
What really stood out to me, was that our food was served in take out containers. The soup for my pho was not hot, and the beef came in a separate container. This meant that the soup was not hot enough to cook the beef and I was left picking it out. It was inedible. We also ordered two other soup noodles, both of which came with their meat inside the soup already. Our summer roll also came with a satay sauce instead of a peanut sauce.
We ordered ~$100 worth of food for four people, and the lady insisted on arguing with my mom when told we were missing an item.
Additionally, our Thai iced teas came in different sized cups.
These small inconsistencies aren’t acceptable for any business looking to be successful.
We were refunded a $20 bill for our experience, which is crazy all things considered.
We will not be dining here again.

Read moreWe drive an hour from the East end, once a month, to go to the Asian grocery store in the plaza with PhoThai. After shopping, we intended to get dumplings and bao buns from the restaurant a few doors down but passed this new spot (1 month open) and decided to try it. Everything we ordered was so delicious, flavorful, fresh, and clearly hand made, with reasonable pricing and great portion sizes. The Pho beef was paper thin and tender (fresh sprouts and limes came on the side) in a broth that was so spot on, I sighed when I sipped it. The summer rolls were crisp and fresh with a very light peanut sauce. The dumplings?? We love dumplings and have sampled from countless restaurants but these were hands down the best we’ve ever had and the dumpling sauce was heavenly. Add to that, the owner was very kind, helpful, and appreciative of our thanks. We ordered more dumplings to bring home but they didn’t last 10 minutes after we walked in the door because we devoured them! We will make the hour drive more frequently, just for another meal at PhoThai. I only got one pic because I was too busy...
Read moreI would not recommend that anyone eat here. And see as there are doctored reviews here I hope you can see why. When I first called to place the order I had specifically requested that there were no nuts in our food seeing as a close family member who would be eating with us has an allergy. They told me this would not be an issue and that the food would be ready in 10 minutes. This should have been red flag number one seeing as preparing the amount of we ordered means that the food was prepared in advance. Then comes the real issue when I went to go pick up the food there nuts on top of one of the dishes after we clearly asked for them not to do this. They then assured us that there would not be any nuts in the two dishes which still does not change the fact it was unacceptable there should not have been any in the first place. Finally when we ate the food was completely unseasoned and inedible. This included rice and chicken. Would not eat here again. Save your...
