Stony Brook Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Good food, good environment, best pizza place in the area I have found since moving here 3 months ago....this was my 1st impression, as of now I will never order from Stony Brook Pizza again, the reason is the last 3 interactions I have had with them

The 1st was a compelety incorrect order, ordered a pepperoni calzone with no ricotta, got a calzone with 3 pieces of pepperoni and ricotta, fail...but they did correct it

the 2nd was another completely incorrect order, ordered another pepperoni calzone with no ricotta, 2 slices, a sausauge and pepperoni calzone no ricotta, and a spinach calzone no ricotta....slices were not delivered and the pepperoni calzone was a sausage calzone...another fail, delivered the slices after we called to complain, realized the incorrect calzone after the 2nd delivery so did not want to push it

The last interaction which will be my last we were told that they were too busy to make us calzones, so not tonight.

Needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere and advising neighbor's and friends to avoid Stony Brook Pizza, it is sad because they...

I will say one time I ordered a pie from here and it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t that great and their wings were obviously frozen and looked like they were oven baked, just looking at them made me feel gross I couldn’t even eat them. Waste of money in that aspect. However their individual SLICES are delicious. I cannot complain about them the last 2 times I’ve been here and gotten one it was absolutely perfect a crackling crispy crust, a nice robust tomato sauce and hot mozzarella cheese mixture that just blended together beautifully like a true NY slice should. I don’t know what it is about their full pies though they just don’t taste the same they’re chewier, flimsier and the sauce is too sweet. I called to order pick up today, and told person on phone that I had a coupon for 2 cheese pies and 12 garlic knots for $24.59 + tax. The person on the phone told me that the wrong coupons were sent out, and that the price was wrong and it would cost $5 additional dollars. I stopped by the restaurant 5-10 minutes later to discuss this, and I was told the same thing despite showing the coupons (pictured below).

I will say that the employees were very respectful the whole time in my interaction, but I do not agree with this restaurant not honoring coupons, sent out recently and with out an expiration date, due to an error made by them. I will not be going back to this restaurant ever again, and I encourage nobody else to use this restaurant because of the dishonesty and false...
