Carter's Creamery — Restaurant in Town of Cazenovia

We went on a spur of the moment late one Saturday night. minutes before they were due to close. It wasn't a big croud, just two or three other groups.

We got our ice cream (a coffee sugar cone for me). It was creamy, not too frozen but not too melty either. I'd say just right. It had that velvety texture and sweetness that made it wonderful. Now I'm not saying that this is the best ice cream I've ever had, but I am saying it was damn good.

As to price, well I think all ice cream is over priced. But , the prices are no different from other quality ice cream shops.

Finally, you buy your ice cream out of a window on the street. Works for me in hot...

They should consider moving their menu - it was impossible to read it with the sun's glare. Customer service was underwhelming and my milkshake came out 10 minutes after everyone else's did with no apology or reason for the wait (they weren't busy either).

This shop does not mess around with it's sundaes! I ordered the Funky Monkey and it was delicious. The portion size was shareable and the sundae was immaculately designed. There are a wide variety of flavors, sizes, cones and toppings. It is a can't miss spot for the summer...
